I do feel that if you spend the time to develop the relationship with any person in the game you should be able to romance them.

You understand the game would not come out until 2012 if the developers had to create a romance for every, single character in the game, right?

You don't have to be an Elf, actually. I played as a human noble and romanced Gheyna (or whatever her name is), so I assume Dwarves can as well.

Cammen is the whiney boy in the dalish camp who never had sex and the woman he wants doesn't want him because he's officially still a boy (he needs to kill something out in the woods which he isn't allowed to because of the werewolves)

And in all your 7 playthroughs you've never played like... human noble origin and bedded either Iona or Dairren (gender doesn't matter, yes, you can do gay or lesbian)...
Or persuaded Isabela to let you do something else with her than the card game to unlock the duelist class...
Or went into the Pearl and bonked all the staff...

He is a male elf in the Dalish Camp.  If you talk to him he whines about having a crush on a girl in the Dalish Camp, who won't 'bond' with him, because he is not yet a hunter. The problem is that he cannout prove his prowess as a hunter because the camp is on lockdown and no one is allowed to venture out because of the werewolves. (and the fact that he's a pansy)

You can either offer to get a pelt for him to prove he's a hunter or talk to the girl in question and try to convince her to give him a chance. If you choose the persuasion route, when you talk to her you can actually betray him, and if your coercion skill is high enough you can convince her that you are better for her than Cammen. That leads to you shagging her in one of the Elven wagons and some hilarious dialogue options when you break the news to him.

There are some other non-party members your character can romance. There are 2 girls in Redcliffe that your PC can get kisses from, and you can also sleep with Iona in the human noble origin. She's the Elven servant to the Lady that is visiting your mother in Highever castle. There's also Isabella at the Pearl. If you ask her about teaching you some of her dueling skills, she'll suggest getting to know each other over a game. Instead of accepting that offer chose the dialogue option about there being another way to get to know each other. From there the dialogue options are fairly obvious, and it ends with the Warden sleeping with Isabella.

I have to correct you. You can sleep with Iona or Dairren. Gender of your character doesn't matter. Yep, the Couslands are an open-minded bunch of people.
Sadly you cannot convince them to a threesome...

Yes!

If you are romancing Morrigan and try to sleep with Isabella I believe she makes a snide comment about not sharing you with a salty sea hag. (or something like that) Morrigan prevents your Warden from sleeping with her though, as Isabella will say she didn't know you were taken and decline your offer in deference to Morrigan.

Morrigan will also make snide comments if you kiss girls in front of her in Redcliffe. Basically she mocks your standards whenever you try to go for someone else in front of her, though I think Isabella is the only one she actually prevents you from romancing.

In my current playthrough as fem Dwarf Noble (see avatar) I had intentions of romancing Alistair, so long story short. I hit it a couple of times... I got Alistair and Leliana hardened through their personal quests and payed a visit to Isabella in the Pearl (I wanted to learn to be a Duelist! Honest!) so I was looking forward to a steamy foursome (I brought Zev along for the ride too) so I initiated the usual conversation, asked if I could go below in Isabellas ship or inspect her poop deck... or something, and Alistair got all huffy because he didn't like me sleeping around! "Uhh, boundaries?", so I cancelled the conversation. Headed back to camp, dumped the whiny so-and-so, hit on Leliana, hit it, headed back to the Pearl with Leli, Zev and Oghren. Oghren fainted (his loss) and me Leli and Zev had... a pleasurable experience.

Alistair. Stop being a bore.

Edit: And on the beard topic, I usually keep some stubble. I don't like a full beard, and I don't like the clean shaven look. Somewhere in between is fine for me.
