Is there any way to support this cause further?

What do the Iolons and Mutaru look like, or the other new minor races?
The Iolon (like krogan, plural and singular is the same) is a short mammal species standing just a tiny bit below the volus. They look like slimmer koala bears with slightly longer snouts, a large and sensitive nose and six large eyes covering almost 360 degrees around them. Their entire bodies is covered in short, fine fur.
Their ears are agile and quite large in proportion to their size, and their hearing is extremely good. Somewhat unique for a mammal, they possess two sets of antennae on their head that senses temperature and pressure changes through delicate, transparent hairs distinct from the fur on their antennae.
They have canine fangs in the front and on the sides of the mouth, with molars in the back for chewing plants. They have six limbs with koala-like hands/paws, all with six digits - four regular fingers and two opposable thumbs, making them excellent climbers. Each digit has a short claw.
They also possess a venomous spur within a sheath just below the hand on each wrist that can be ejected about the length of their wrist. The venom paralyzes locally, and is only lethal if injected into vital organs. They also have three sets of long spines on their back containing the venom as well, to protect their backs and dissuade larger predators from swallowing them whole.
I believe that if you MUST have an early sacrificial lamb in your game, at least let their death mean something. BioWare did this right in Kotor and DA:O, but not as much in Mass Effect 1 and DA: Awakening.Charcolt wrote...
Agreed that Jenkins' sacrifice actually felt like an emotional moment.
Pretty much, yeah.Charcolt wrote...
I like how Act 1 is going, investigating Saren at several locations, likely with most of them used to introduce groups like Cerberus or characters that will be squadmates later on, only to later find out he isn't the bad guy. Javik's surviving army is definitely going to shake things up.
Thanks!Charcolt wrote...
The entire script is pretty fantastic, and I can't wait to see what comes next

Yvash'juun is pretty much a giant ****** who takes any opportunity he can to deride his galactic rivals, but he's not stupid enough to cross them, above asking for their help or below giving them help. Even his people are pretty evenly divided between saints, half-n-halfs and total pricks. Though the overall culture of the Imperium holds itself far above the other nations, and because they discovered the protheans at such a late date, they hold themselves equal or at least close to the protheans as well... which might be trouble when they meet Javik and his remnant army.Gemini Freak wrote...
Okay, Mission 2 review:
-Poor Council. Now that they are more competent, the Kadeci begin insulting them. Okay, it's only Yvash, but still...
I always thought the investigation into Saren was resolved too quickly. Now Shepard really has to earn that Spectre promotion.Gemini Freak wrote...
-Mission 2 is a loooooong investigation, but when it comes to putting the pieces together, I approve, especially when there are twists and turns.

And here comes the bad news: While I was writing the second chapter, well, let's just say that writer's block is very awful. Especially for me, because when I stop for one hour, I lose my interest. I think I may have to start anew.

Interesting and all, but ME happens in the last quarter of the 22nd Century.

I pushed history forward to give the Alliance more time to realistically solidify as a galactic power. Before, humans went from being a pre-Mass Effect species to being a serious military rival to the turians in just 30 years. Now, it's taken them 130 years, and it's still super-fast - though realistically so.Luxure wrote...
You just speculate. I didn't state I don't like it. As you can see, I even stated it's "INTERESTING", but that the ME story happens in the LAST QUARTER of the 22nd CENTURY.

Okay, I can only read the clusters that appeared in the games, plus Aegean Nebula, Mutaru something-something, and that's it.
Anyone managed to read any other names?
