Funny... I can't read the document... When I read it while offline, this appears:

Debug text:

10
------------
10
------------

And every time I click the reload button, it adds one more 10---------- sequence.

Anyone experiencing the same problem?

EDIT: Never mind, I just tried reading it on another browser and it worked.

^Yes. Though having the old missions helped, there was little that needed changing for Virmire, Justice and Sovereign.

The reboot is now 116 pages long and clocking in at 53000 words, and I'm not even done with ME1 yet. It's gotten so big that it actually crashes Safari when I try to open it on my phone.

Just finished reading, and all I can say is WOW!
Seriously though, brilliant work. You've managed to change up a whole bunch of stuff while still retaining the spirit and themes of ME. I was wondering if you could implement a cyborg-type character. After all, the only cyborgs in the series were Kai Leng and Shepard. Kai Leng was underused and Shepard lacks visual augments (Robotic arms, legs etc...) other than his/her eyes and facial scars. I'd like to see an Adam Jensen-esque character, who was augmented against their will by the Alliance/Cerberus, and are having to cope with these changes.

I'm just brainstorming here, but what do you think?

I was planning to get around to this eventually. I wanted cybernetics to be much more prominent in the universe to foreshadow Synthesis.

It's quite possible that Toombs, the Akuze survivor, might be a victim of forced augmentation by Cerberus.

Something I feel the need to clarify is that Suzerain, the leader of the Reapers, is the Catalyst from the games. He has the "So be it." voice instead of the Child/FemShep/ManShep voice, and takes the holographic guise of his creator instead of a human child.

And unlike the Catalyst, Suzerain has absolutely no intentions of ever playing nice. If Sovereign is the charismatic and deceptive Ras Al'Ghul of ME1, and Harbinger is the insane but crafty Joker of ME2, then Suzerain is definitely the brutal and unrelenting Bane of ME3. He doesn't care to use indoctrination to further his purposes (unless absolutely necessary, such as when Shepard is about to use the Crucible) and doesn't rely on indoctrinated agents and huskified servants like Sovereign and Harbinger - Suzerain enters the fray personally and completely obliterates everything in his path with absolute force.

You a fan of Assassin's Creed, Arcian? Because the Altair (don't know how to write those two dots above the i) Nebula appears to say so.

I am, but I chose the name because it means "The Bird" in Arabic and because the nebula is home to Turvess, homeworld of the raloi who, as you may know, are an avian species.

That's a lot of changes and adds new lore. While some of it, I can't say whether or not I liek it yet, it still does expand onto things and seek to make much more sense on things, and promotes general more freedom and not forced narrative, which is what Mass Effect originally sought to promote-- And that itself would lead to a much, much, more awesomer game itself.

I can appreciate the expanded background, but I'll reread it everyday for the next two weeks, to decide whether or not it all comes together in my head. Nobody should care for my point of view, but I don't know what to think yet. At the moment, it seems to go towards, "hell yeah." This is really well-done and obviously took a lot of time and investment into it to do so, and that's something I can respect

Overall, I think what I can appreciate most how it seeks to create a wide and expansive narrative that leaves you open to choices to make where you actually have influence in the decisions made as opposed to filler apathetic made content that doesn't promote the freedom actually said to be had. So much to say, so little tme to think.

I think what will take most for me to mull over is the custom lore-- Which seems good itself, but I don't know yet. Lot to think about.

Really great so far, regardless!

Amazing, simply amazing..

Agree with all of the plots, and the interactivity is awesome.

I can't get past the anti-Shepard idea. I just don't like it. In fact, I dislike it more than I do the ME3 endings.

The first two games were fantastic, changing them in bad ways to somehow alleviate what's wrong in the third game is poorly conceptualised and self-defeating (you corrupt the first two in the process). Nonetheless, I appreciate the effort.

Particularly enjoyed the pre-ME 'Creators' section, well thought out and believable.

Completely understandable.

I'm afraid we disagree on this point. I'm not writing the reboot to fix ME3, I'm writing it to fix ME, period. I realize that's not going to please everyone, but then again, it's not supposed to.

Thank you.
