Is the PSN really doing maintenance now, or am I just having issues connected for some odd reason?  I got a message saying it was under maintenance.  I didn't see any notices about any sceduled maintenance though.

errr i think the servers have said no to mass effect weekend events

i know we missed out, i think sonys servers have shutdown (i.e hacked) its the same error code as it was when it was hacked last year

It does kind of look like a hack situation, I hope it's not...but it certainly reminds me of what happened last time. :-/ I hope it's just a hiccup in the system though. I noticed the first time I tried to sign back in it said my password was no longer valid. then it just said the servers were down. It just looks like some serious stuff may be going on.

Hmmm...so a few weeks without play and more free games all around. I'd rather have service then free games though. FLACK!

Honestly if it's hacked again, I think they should just give it up. I don't know what the solution would be, but clearly if it really is a hack then they are in over their heads. Maybe strike a deal with another company that can actually run a safer network. I hope it's not really a hacking situation though, that would just really ruin my weekend. Sure I can do other things, but like one bad thing goes wrong...the universe tends to send more. Murphy's law or some shiz.

sony nearly ended up bankrupt when it happened last time, i think if its really a hack sony will either deal with it more quickly then last time, or ultimately get ruined

i dont want to get slaughtered for saying this but microsoft have done a better job with their software then sony have, hence the reason sony are the ones that successfully get attacked. am i right?
