The character models are irrelevant. It's the powers that matter.

And if the Ex-Cerb characters are anything to draw from, the new human characters would likely have new outfits or designs. It doesn't matter if the characters are humans, designing their model, doing their voice work, creating the new powers, etc. still takes time, and is anything but "borderline lazyness."

We have a lot of alien classes.

So I'm cool with what I've got.
More human classes? Okay. Not too bothered.

I have a great variety of classes both alien and human already (and I haven't unlocked everything yet). There is no shortage of classes. But I am always welcome to trying out even more classes. More exotic aliens with badass powers and badass weapons. Just can't say no to that. But I won't be begging and pleading for more either.

What I want to see is a co-operative campaign. That would be fantastic.

Who cares what you can 'deal' with?  The DLC sounds like it'll be awesome, and it isn't laziness whatsoever.  The fact is you just aren't getting what you want, so as always you cry about it.  There isn't a thing wrong with a DLC being centered around Earth and I think it's pretty cool that's what they're doing.  It's what they WANTED to do this time. Not because they're lazy, but because they felt it fit.  And to accuse them of ignorance as to what the community wants just displays your own ignorance.  A handful of people here with their pet preferences does not equate to what the community wants.  That's your constant problem.  You think the game should be designed around you and other few that post the loudest here.  Well thank god they don't design it that way.

You want to talk about constant problems? You're problem is that you constantly flame and berate people who have a different opinion than yourself.

And when people voice concerns or complaints you call it "crying" or "whining" and you're just in general an overall jerk to EVERYONE.

Heck, I've stepped on a few toes around here. But here's a few things I've never done.

1) Tell people that they are whiners or crying. Because they have an opinion I don't agree with doesn't mean they're whiners... or whatever.

2) Straight up call someone a child as an opening argument. But I have if they are throwing that crap around.

But you, you do this crap all the time. At least 5 times a day from what I've seen.

They can be used but you need skill...

That's rather the issue.

Human engineer, sentinel and vanguard are amazing classes (vanguard space program bug notwithstanding) so long as you know to use them properly. Soldiers hold their own perfectly well as long you're a good player. The only ones I'd describe as lackluster are infiltrator and adept, solely due to the comparatively weak singularity and cryo blast.

Ok, what would be the difference between a human infiltrator and a turian infiltrator, assuming they had the same skillset?
I don't get the big deal about wanting new races. You that much eyecandy? Mod your client and quit whining.

Beside the fact that the different races have different passive ability trees, different base defensive and movement speed values, and completely different handling in-game, some people like the way certain alien species look, or their appearance customization options, or enjoy the roleplaying aspect of a roleplaying game. Which are each enough of a reason to voice preferences for non-human characters just like you're voicing your lack of a preference.

Well said!

Don't deflect. Just own up that you used one of the lamest forms of personal attacks on the internet.
Calling or insinuating that someone is a child or child-like is almost on par with calling people trolls when they aren't trolling.

It's lame. Come up with something better. I've got a bit of confidence that you're probably intelligent enough.

Not to mention male only Ex-Cerberus too..

Have they forgot us girls play Mass Effect too?

Bad enough the BF3 character was male only.

I find this thread to have been made in poor taste.

BioWare doesn't have to give us any DLC at all. The multi-player aspect of ME3 was originally met with shock and horror when announced, they could have just left it at what it was during launch. They could have charged us for Resurgence and Rebellion. The devs are clearly trying to keep us entertained, and that they have done that without charging us a damn cent thus far is worthy of a great deal more respect than the original poster is displaying with this...I don't even know what to call it. It's a whine about hypothetical DLC. I think I'll just call it absurd.

Well if they're focusing on Earth based maps with this DLC, it does make perfect sense to introduce new human classes.  I just hope that they are different enough from each other this time, instead of sharing 2 out of 3 powers between them.  That annoyed me about Rebellion.

Also, with the focus on Earth, does anyone else think that this may be our last MP DLC, at least for a good while?  All of the new packs, weapons, and weekend events seem to flow with the single-player storyline, and if we have new Earth maps, that kinda implies the end of the MP narrative.  Hope I'm wrong though.

I have a feeling that the Cerberus Phantom will be female.
Maybe there will be a female Cerberus Engineer.

In Cerberus, men do biotics, women do tech maybe?
It should be men do both, women do both.

As for Battlefield 3, was that character only male.
Shame. That was an improved version of the human soldier and it had no female equivalent.

Do you ever stop putting people down?

Seriously that's ALL you do around here.

Nobody likes you bro. You've insulted way to many people and stepped on way to many toes.

Crying? No. I'm voicing a concern as a fan. I don't want 6 more Humans, there are plenty of people who feel the same way.

And you're not going to diminish the legitimacy of my concern by being a complete jerk. Or well by being yourself that is.

Talon, you've gotta be the blackest pot I've ever seen.   I mean even here, I just acknowledge the fact that you're constantly crying about something, which let's face it, everyone here always knows you are, and you turn around and throw out an insult that no one likes me.  Yes, the latter is worse.  But I couldn't care less anyway lol.  Fact is, you even saying it shows how simple minded you can be.  Nobody likes me?  More like maybe ten of ya don't, ten of which I don't WANT to like me.  The whole reason I joined was to lend a voice of reason and stand up in the face of those ten or their like.  But I can say for certain that far more have appreciated what I've been doing than haven't.  But even that's irrelevant, since I'm not here running for class president lol.

But the line you wrote that exposes you the most, and underlines exactly why I do what I do, is your statement that "I've stepped on too many toes".  Too many or the elite few?  But you thinking there are toes to be stepped on is your problem.  You and your ilk think you're better than others, that your opinions, positions and standing should be respected and heeded more than others.  That's why you and your ilk are frustrated beyond oblivion with me since I've come to town.  Because your toes aren't supposed to be stepped on right?  How DARE I come in and not put you on the pedastal you convince yourself you should be on!  Well too bad.  There are no toes to be stepped on to begin with.  Your opinion is no more valid (in most cases less so) than anyone elses.  Get over yourself already.

Oh, and there is no legitimacy to your concern.  Just typical arrogance and me me me it's all about me! cliche garbage.

If you're female, does it really mean you must play as a female character?
I'm female and I play as the male humans.

Phantoms are biotics though :? I don't think I'd like to play as one, I hate them too much. Whenever I hear her battle cry as she's swinging that stupid blade into the soft underbelly of one of my teammates, a little part of me dies.

OK , I admit, troll was bad choice of word. Whiner is more accurate.
And to be certain you don't mix the meanings:
2. To complain or protest in a childish fashion.
It is pretty childish to complain about free stuff given to you so you could play more diverse classes.

More likely, the reason we saw the Cerberus "Project: Phoenix" individuals brought as male only relates to a lore piece we'll find in SP at some point.

It's not too farfetched to believe that the Illusive Man would have multiple programs running testing out different things, with "Project Phoenix" testing the viability of creating a frontline force of biotic soldiers.
Given how we've seen the Alliance military portrayed(primarily male infantry; with a few females in more of an intelligence/logistical role and some females in a combat role) it would make sense to have that project consisting primarily of males.

Okay you got me. I actually am Barack Obama. Hi BSN, I would like your support in the November election. If reelected, I will ensure there are female Turians, Geth Soldiers, Drell Infiltrators and much more in the next DLC.
