I have a pretty simple question ...
My friend is about 2 buy ME3 and I was curious if it possible 2 complete gold missions with only 3 players ...
I am trying to find the best way to help my friend catch up to my level in less time than it took me to get there so we can play together more freely ... if that makes sense ...
If gold isn't viable ... would silver be viable with common weapons ...
All information would be greatly appreciated
Kind Regards

N7 level does not count for anything these days so trying to catch him up to your "level" would mean in terms of experience level. Your best bet is to give your friend the grand tour. Start on bronze and let him figure out where he stands with each class and experiment with builds. Let him get used to the spawn points and nuisances of each enemy. "Forcing" experience through Gold accomplishes nothing and only results in frustration.

just tell him to stop playing single player after the harbinger "fight" and all will be well.
So he sees the Reapers win and nothing else? HA! Would be funny as hell... I actually hoped that'd be the ending, it's almost unheard of for the protagonist to ultimately fail in sagas like ME.

so it shouldn't be much of a problem...

Him and I have been playing hotseat for a while ... He can play silver with my characters and weapons and succeed 80% of the time with randoms ...
Play silver with your friend, so long as you can get "sympathetic" randoms or other friends until he gets enough Rares to take on Gold. If the randoms are being too harsh, level up his adept or engineer (who can get away with carrying commons as standard weapons) to 20 on Bronze, and have him claim to be a class purist.

Thanks for all the great advice ...
I was unsure if him being inside at the desk with FBWGG would be ok cause even the desk gets swarmed at times ... but I may look into doing a gold and seeing how it goes ...
Silver seems to be the best bet with gear being the problem as stated ...
Once again ... thanks to all for the advice

Mathematics say that if 1 person can do it then any number of people above 1 should be able to do it as well.

When I finally bought this game, I had my friend and a couple of his friends who were already high up the N7 ranks power-level me up, so it took me only a very short time to be able to do gold myself, including the credits I needed to quickly unlock all the stuff up to and including rare.

But Gold might be frustrating w/ 3. I'd ease your friend into it. Or find a 4th person to join you guys. There are some really good players groups here to find more friends. Bronze Effect (we don't only play Bronze) and Legion Effect come to mind.

No, he should stop playing before the harbinger fight. That way, he won't end up on the citadel at all.thewalrusx wrote...

I was thinking of suggesting him to go human engineer so he can spam overload which would help on FBWGG but the HS sounds much more his play style ...
I will also suggest the 2-3 bronzes and silvers before he does a gold ... ... problem is that he hates farming cause he says it's boring ... so i may be stuck on silver for a while

I wouldn't even start on gold until he is actually leveled up and has good guns. He'll be stuck on bronze more than silver, considering he hasn't even played the first two games and the single player most likely.

FBW doesn't really work that well anymore due to the capture the flag mechanic that they added.

FBWGG will always be FBWGG ... ... unless they make a simultaneous hack objective ... or mix banshees with everything again ... lol

We have finished 1 and 2 with all characters ... finished 1 and 2 on insanity with most characters ... Finished ME3 twice ...
Game experience ... He has it
