I've run into an odd little glitch w/ TIM in the final act. No matter how high my reputation
is at the end, none of my Shepards can paragon/renegade persuade TIM. I
have to take the renegade interrupt. I had successfully persuaded TIM in
two past PTs, but haven’t been able to since. The first time it failed was in a New Game plus, but it has happened in three subsequent new imports. Two of the Shepards were slightly modded (increased the aount of eyeshadow in gibbed) and two were unaltered. Thanks!

In order to pass the final speech check against TIM you need to use every paragon/renegade speech option in every encounter with him in the game. It's easy to miss the one on Mars which would then lock out the final one in the last encounter.

I've done that on PTs that were then locked out. Do you have to be consistant? Straight paragon or renengade? Thanks for the reply either way.

I always take the paragon persuasion in the Mars scene, but then switch to "go to hell" in the end of the dialogue. (except on my pure paragon). Also, I just replayed my first PT w/ canon Shep and switched up the paragon and renegade persuades in the final and got him to kill himself. I dunno.
