Silver Needs To Be Harder

After playing a couple games in Silver this weekend (misread the community goal) I realize now why so many noobs end up in my Gold games.  Silver is too easy!!  The hardest thing about Silver is the bad teammates.  Maybe, just maybe, if Silver was harder then the noobs who are now emboldened by how easy Silver is currently wouldn't fill up the Gold Lobbies.

EDIT:  In case you didn't understand the above: I don't want Silver harder because I can't play Gold.  Don't waste your time or anyone else's posting guides to playing Gold.  Some of this I think is just a result of unique individuals who don't read this post and just go off the topic title.

EDIT:  As far as reward goes I think the current reward for all levels of difficulty is too low.  One gold game IMO should equal one PSP (99Kcredits) while one Silver game should equal 1/2 of a PSP (or 50K credits), etc...

A player who has 'mastered' Silver should have both the experience and weapons to make the transistion into Gold.

Well, I myself play gold, but silver is silver because it is less hard than gold. It gives half credits and half XP. People choose to play silver by choice. If it is made harder, even more will jump to gold because if they are getting half of all rewards in a harder game, why not go gold and get maximum possible? Your point is moot.

There already is a harder silver, it's called gold. If you don't like the idea that some people aren't equal to your 'godly' skill level, stop playing random.

...what?

Silver is supposed to be easier than Gold.

Why would it be made harder?

Yeah. If only they had a difficulty that was harder. They could call it gold or somethin like that.

They should just introduce Platinum already. Gold is already too easy if you play good classes with decent teammates.

Agree.  But still the jump from Bronze to Silver is not reflective of the jump from Silver to Gold.

You know what? Bioware anticipated the fact that people who play silver will eventually get tired of it, because it becomes to easy. Thus they created Gold difficulty. Behold the great number of enemies that can melt away your shields and health before you have a chance to react. They will ensure that you are never found bored with a full bar of health, and are happy to assist you in reaching your demise.

Return to the realm of the 79th element thou condescending player. Allow for us plebian masses to enjoy a challenge not so great as the noble task before you.

I'd like more enemies on silver. Everything's the same just more spawn silver just seems a little empty at times but that's me

Well my point is that Silver is functioning more as a springboard than a training camp for Gold.  And your right, the point of Silver (or farming) is 1) to gain the credits/skill necessary to move into Gold and 2} its easier than Gold.

EDIT: Fixed quote lines

Still wouldn't be enough to offset your eminent badassery. Need some sort of ME3 selusa secundus for that.

I think you and the majority of the Silver players out there could handle a slightly stiffer challenge.  I don't want to ruin Silver for you; I just think Silver is ruining Gold.

As someone who plays Silver almost exclusively and gets successful extraction about 90% of the time, I can say sincerely that Silver is just fine the way it is.

Of course Silver won't seem hard enough for you if you play Gold regularly.

Also, the jump from Bronze to Silver is not small; probably about on par with the jump from Silver to Gold if considered on a directly proportional scale.

.

90% extraction rate is proof that its too easy.  90% isn't a challenge; its a cake walk.

I love how one person says "They do have a harder silver, it's called gold" and now everybody and their mother is saying the exact thing trying to make themselves look smart.

Even better is the fact no one even understands OP's point.
They're saying too many people go from silver to gold and "suck". So make silver harder so they stay there and they can continue to feed their elitism.
