So my boyfriend decided to play ME3 right now. He's beaten the game and we see it in his saves for ME2, but when he goes to "Import ME2 character" it doesn't give him the option to do so. We copied his saves from his main harddrive to his 4G flash as well and it still didn't work...anyone know why or what I have to do to fix this?
Having issues with ME2 Imported save..

Was the game save originally created on a different Xbox or storage media? There are 2 IDs on the game save that must match the current Xbox and storage media or the save will not be usable.

End game saves are hidden files trapped on his original Xbox hard drive.

If the above answers do not help you could always play ME2 again from the last save (if you follow the motto Save Early Save Often this shouldn't be too much of a problem) and just run through the last mission again and get a cleared game save.
Its a pain I know but better than running through ME2 all over again.
