I was playing my game (at the point where Taliesen shows up in Denerim), Alistair was wearing the Blood Dragon Armour, then suddenly he was naked.
So I loaded an older save, he is naked there too. So I loaded a very very old save, and the armour seems to have disappeared from all my saves. It still shows in the save screenshots, but it's not there upon loading.
I checked the DLC in the game menu, the Blood Dragon armour shows as installed and activated.
Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

Huh... for some reason the Armor re-appeared after I installed some new DLC that was in my installable section, called The Edge. I have no idea why it's there or how I came about it. However, this isn't really all that great, because what if I hadn't had new content to install?

There was a blood-dragon armor update... to fix some of the missing textures... it first removes and then replaces the earlier version
