Hey there,

was looking foreward to participate on the event weekend but since yesterday night I cannot enter multiplayer from the main menu. Friday was the last time I played multiplayer and everything was ok.

When I press Multiplayer a longer loadscreen occurs than usual until I lose connection to the EA Server and I get kicked back to the main menu and have to wait for "Checking for DLC" again (it seems to take longer than usual as well but I may be wrong here).

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me soon since I didn't miss any Commendation Pack until now and this would really make me sad :(

I updated ME3 several times now and am currently fixing the installation via Origin. If this doesn't help I will reinstall ME3 and try again.
If this really is a connection problem it may be useful to know that none of my internet settings has been changed that could have brought up the issue.

Thanks in advance!

I am having a similar issue. I press any key to get to the menu, instant disconnect. Unable to authorize my 2 dlcs - Rebellion and Resurgence. It says connect to Alliance Network. I cannot find out how to do this.

Well stangely enough I get connected to the Alliance Network but lose the connection when I try to enter multiplayer.

Our problems are similar I guess, but not the same :(

Have the same problem as you Geakker. Been doing MMo for the past month and just decided to try out M3 mutli again but no go there.....just gets the "searching for game" and disconnected message.

I am also having problems getting into a game. I have tried opening up the parameters to "Any" location and "Any" enemy, and have tried all three difficulty levels. The Searching goes on and on and on. I have let it search for up to 15 minutes without results. Sometimes I get the "lost connection to EA" message and have to re-enter the multiplayer screen. Are there really NO games available for me to join??? That seems unlikely!
I'm new to multiplayer mode, so I was wondering if I'm doing something wrong. It's good to know I'm not the only one having trouble, but it would be better to be able to fix the problem.
Ideas, anyone? It would be great to get that pesky readiness level high enough to have 4000 or above in EMS.
TIA!

Hmmm......finally got it to work and it was ridiculously easy in the end. To put shortly, after having done the step in another post concerning a solution to this problem, including trying a second time with a computer restart and it didn't work....then I noticed my origin chatt wasn't online and wouldnt go online no matter what I did. So I closed down Origin only and restarted the program...this time making sure the origin chat would go on-line before starting ME3.

This was purely a desperate measure for me, as I was prepared to try anything and I figured it might somehow be
Origin itself that was the problem since ME3 itself clearly got the game in contact with the servers on startup. But to my surprise, this showed out to be the problem as once the chat function in Origin managed to get online I could start ME3 multiplayer without no problem whatsoever.

The silly thing in all this, both Origin and ME3 was clearly working and had been connected with EA servers before this.....and the chat was the only thing that wasn't connecting to the EA server.

PS: I had been able to repair, could "buy" & download rebellion, change my account settings and all other things with Origin before this. Just want to mention that before someone points out my Origin couldnt have been online.

Edit:
Wanted to make a slight correction that the Chat wasn't offline as I mentioned earlier now when I have thought of it some more, but rather as if trying to get online and was searching. So might not be necessary to be online...it rather strikes me as if that function was trying so hard to connect that it wouldnt allow me to connect to multiplayer
ingame.
