Teagan is of course blameless in this whole thing, attempt to implicate him at your peril.

Now now, really.

* Teagan is made the "last line of defence" and the only male in the Chantry who is not a kid or an old man.
* all women from Redcliffe are recalled to the Chantry where they're to stay under Teagan's own, close supervision.
do we really need a graph here to add 2 and 2 together... Image IPB

Yeah Cauthrien is far too mired in the depths of Lawful Stupid, if she has a mind of her own she should have some guilt over what Loghain made her do and realise Loghain is destroying himself and the country he loves. Ah well.

That and I will forever be galled by the fact that her lawful stupid includes being considered liquid awesome... When she is backed by a small army and then a chump at the Landsmeet.

Yes, this detail will haunt me forever.

I'm guessing at pimping service also. He needs some cash to build an army. None of the peasants in Redcliffe gets any inheritance from gramps.

You have to hand it to him, this whole "the zombies are coming, we may all be dead before sunrise" thing he's got going can be a very good argument why the remaining Redcliffe virgins should just stop worrying about tomorrow and try to live their lives to the fullest while they still last.

What was it Zevran said about the small communities :s

It would be interesting to come back to Redcliffe in 10 years time, and see be see all the kids mysteriously born around 9 mouths after the attack, and they all look strangely alike... Image IPB

If you say there is sexism towards women in Redcliffe, I dare turn it around and say there is sexism towards men in the Chantry. No male can ever become the equivalent of a priest in the chantry, and when you go to [spoiler ashes] you are surprised about who the religious leader of it is, being male.

Where is the taliban woman complaining that women in this game can be fighters instead of staying at home, and don't wear bhurka when outside?

We don't know what went on behind the scenes with Loghain and Cauthrien. She may have privately raised her objections to Loghain. Also she has never met you or Alistair.

Cauthrien does not instinctively know how awesome you are. Or that you are better alternatives to lead the Kingdom. Alistair has shown no leadership ability. Your party includes two junior Grey Wardens, turncoat assassin, apostate mage, Qunari serial killer, Orlesian chantry, drunken dwarf and an old mage.

Bann Teagan hid in the chantry as he was afraid that the Darkspawn would stab his lady bits off.

Fact.

<----------------------Alistair I understand, but come on, one look at my character!  One look and she should be on one knee pledging eternal servitude and fealty before entering the Landsmeet to kill all those who would oppose my rise to power!  He's got the Prince Vultan moustachio for crying out loud!

Isolde is a strike against Eamon. I really don't know what he could ever have seen in that airheaded little hypocrite who seems to be totally useless for anything besides wearing pretty dresses and breaking glass with her voice. Not to mention the age difference -- she looks like his kid more than like his wife.

(Though to be fair, we only meet her in a very extreme situation. Even so, she's ... underwhelming in the extreme.)

I find it odd that you're assuming he married her for 'love' or lust. He's a noble; the marriage is probably political and might have been arranged before she was even born.

No. Isolde is Orlesian, and Arl Eamon took a lot of heat from Maric and others for wanting to marry an Orlesian woman and making her an arlessa. If I recall my codex right, she was the daughter of the Orlesian lord who controlled Redcliffe during the occupation, and fell in love with Eamon the defiant freedom fighter during the war.

Yes. The codex mentions she's probably "too romantic for her own good" or something to that effect, and how when her family eventually fled back to Orlais she decided to stay alone behind to be with the man she loved.

Wouldn't really consider it a "strike against Eamon" nor her for that matter.

You know, when I was down in the deep roads, I didn't see an ogre broodmother. Clearly, they don't exist.
