• freezing OR crashing (i.e. Home Button menu not accessible) at some loading screens
• this only happens on loading screens before entering a new location; no problems with battle or cutscenes
• the freezing (or crashing) was replicable with 100% accuracy if I revisted the same area. Sometimes it seemed that I could "avoid" the freezing if I visited a few areas in between, then, head to my desintation. Other time it didn't seem that way.
• I've deleted my options file once now, but no luck. Haven't deleted any other information.
Here's the interesting part: this has happened on two different discs, and, two different characters. (I returned the game, thinking I had a bad copy, and just wasn't interested in playing. I changed my mind, and, experienced the same problem.)
Currently working on a 40GB fat PS3. No other issues to speak of. Have tried playing the game connected to EA/PSN, and, not. Also tried turning off auto-save.
Completely stuck here and really want to tear into this game but I have no idea what to do.
