I've tried use the toolset with my stupid steam version, but it's hopeless...or I'm hopeless and I just want a mod to remove the chicken nests from the shoulders of the mage robes. =) Please ..anyone?

Removing the shoulder pads would require editing the 3d model, which isn't possible in the toolset. You'd need to export the model, edit it, and then import it back in. Alternatively, you could change the model to other styles of clothing (like the standard mage robe you start out in).
