so, if not for score and not for credits, why do you play?

That, and it's the only co-op game I can play with my hubby. He's usually too busy with World of Tanks or on his silly mame games. But when I want ME-MP, he better recognize

I play for a strange alien concept I learned from a far away planet.
It's called fun.
Now granted I want lots of credits because the RNG trolls me all day, and I want to unlock the new charactors so I can experience the game in a different way with different ability sets.
I could writte the same text and the writter would still be writting his mind.
When people start saying "if not for the taste of food why do you eat", then I get a bit worried.

Then I would have to say it was to play as Geth.
Favorite character from any universe ever... except maybe Xenomorphs.

Well if your relying on a game to meet a need your barking up the wrong tree. There is no actual need with a video game. Food yes, video game, hell no.

I dunno man. N7 ranking has some meaning but not as much as Bioware suggests. Guns, once you get a few good ones maxed out, the rest is just icing.Creighton72 wrote...
I am desperate to get a high N7 ranking. Actually I used to play for fun, then I started playing for weapons of late I play a lot less. Not having much fun and not getting many weapons/gear, now I guess I just play a few games a day for practice, and hoping some new game modes come out.
Why not just game for fun? If not, it's just work. Pick a few funky weapons, don't worry about completing the mission, just goof off in Bronze or something.

Always have the classes I know I'm good with when I just need to get some good solid killing done, but there's plenty of experimentation to be done as well. That'd be another reason!

Because soloing a Banshee/Atlas/Prime using Biotic Explosions on my AA is so damn satisfying.
Because meleeing everything in sight with a Krogan is so damn satisfying. "For Tuchanka!"
Because speaking like a Vorcha on mic while using a Reegar/Flamer and quoting Ghostbusters is so DAMN satisfying. "NO CROSS STREAMS!"

But primarily I play for the challenge of clearing wave 10 on gold, especially when there are difficult circumstances (bad teammates / I'm using a sub-optimal build etc).
Getting access to decent rank UR's is nice but it's a low priority
