I am desperate to get a high N7 ranking. Actually I used to play for fun, then I started playing for weapons of late I play a lot less. Not having much fun and not getting many weapons/gear, now I guess I just play a few games a day for practice, and hoping some new game modes come out.

I dunno man. N7 ranking has some meaning but not as much as Bioware suggests. Guns, once you get a few good ones maxed out, the rest is just icing.

Why not just game for fun? If not, it's just work. Pick a few funky weapons, don't worry about completing the mission, just goof off in Bronze or something.

I can only play the same mode so many times I guess. As for fun, it was fun, and I don;t dislike it but I just don't have as much fun as I used too. I mix my classes a lot but I play pub. I used to look forward to the challenges but the last two where not a challenge. I have taken a few breaks from the game already, probably take another one. Maybe I will finally finish  Skyrim which I never have. I can't kill the nice dragon.

The anticipation builds up a strong dopamine response when getting something good in a pack.

Stress Relief and to pass time when I don't have time for more demanding games (looking at you, Skyrim).
good way to waste 20 mins or take a break from studying.
And to kill bad guys. always reapers, gold.

The biggest reason is that I don't want to let go of Mass Effect. Even with the ending issues, it's my favorite game series ever.

Also, 4 of my favorite classes have come from the DLC, and I keep finding new builds and playstyles that I enjoy. As long as they keep it coming, I'll probably keep playing.

Boredom and the fact I currently can't afford new games. Otherwise it's all about DAT CHEDDAH BOI. I'm pro anything that increases the likelihood of getting paid without falling asleep or raising my stress level well over 9,000.

Mostly I play for fun, nothing beats a high level Krogan on a bronze match. Split 50/50 with playing gold matches for credits when there's unlocks to be had. Still waiting for my Phoenix Vanguard, BW.

I play to unlock things. When I unlock everything I will probably stop playing. But Bioware knows this so they keep introducing more content.

play for fun, and its great you don't care about credits, but don't screw us that want credits out of them. tired of people hating this or that so they dont do objectives or extract or use missles or....

I enjoy the gameplay. I always got disappointed in ME2 when I was nearing the point in a run where I had fewer things to kill with the much-revamped mechanics.

To have fun mainly. I always thought that a game was made for that.

Also, being able to annihilate Geths/Reapers/Cerberus troops while only wearing a stylish trenchcoat is quite satisfying.
