I don't like how they made her body look just for sex appeal, but I thought she had a good personality and seemed to gain more organic characteristics than Legion did.

I thought EDI was ok. Nothing spectacular. It was interesting to watch the AI evolve to show some traits of humanity. What stood out was learning she was capable of deceit.

I liked the EDI character. I think giving her a body was a natural progression of who and what she was; however did they really have to go the Sexbot route complete with ****** on the "dressed" versions of the body?

I mean really?

We still get slapped in the face with the Miranda ****** and ass shots every fricking time we see her in ME3; did we really need this?

EDI was annoying and useless enough in ME2. Then they destroyed Joker's character with her in ME3. That stupid sexbot is the reason a lot of Jokermancers are getting pushed over. It's irritating.

EDI's character is overrated and generic. I still don't get why people like her.

I think BioWare went bit far with the whole AI trying to be a human thing in ME3. It's passable, or something I can ignore but believable AI? No.

I just don't see her use. Even with a reaper IFF, she gives away the position of my ship in reaper systems all the damn time. I don't even know what she does in game other than being a piece of tin.

I don't even understand why people wanted them together so badly. EDI was pretty great in ME2 how she was. And their relationship was fine how it was as well.

I liked EDI a lot as an individual character in ME3, but I just really didn't like the whole Joker/EDI romance story arc. I thought it felt silly and too easily brushed over the possible strangeness/complexity of a human falling in love with an AI by giving EDI that "pretty much human anyway" body.

I didn't like her much in ME2, but she was ok and bearable. Now, in ME3 she's just irritating. Why the hell did she become a squadmate, in the squad that is already this small, when I'd rather have smb from ME2 team? And the horrid body...don't even get me started

I certainly like the character and I think Tricia Helfer did a fine job with her VO, but I wasn't exactly overjoyed with the direction they took with EDI in ME3.

Her oversexualisation definitely had a negative impact on the rest of her arc for me. The split between her design and the sexy robot comedy segments with Joker and the more serious examination of her evolving personality and humanity was more than a little jarring.

She was a much more charming character when she was simply an AI in the ship. She immediately became ridiculous when she inherited the sexbot body. She became a daft "Weird Science" parody, particularly with the whole Joker thing too. They're relationship is much sweeter when it is purely a friendship.

So, basically, she was another character ruined in ME3.
