Me flicking back just as Garrus and Liara gets hit by the Reaper lazor, and they somehow end up on the Normandy. Could have used that kind of Tech you know.

Didn't like the destruction of the relays, but REALLY didn't like the sudden cut-off after a whole bunch of galaxy-changing events (relays, your choice, etc) where you don't actually find out what the hell happened or what you accomplished in the end.
Did I just strand everybody on Earth? Did I just damn all of civilisation? Can the Reapers come back? Is everybody a cyborg now? What did I actually just DO? I know we're given a brief summary of the choices by the ghostkid, but what ACTUALLY happened as a result?
The fact that it was just push a button, die, game ends with no fall-out. Lots of speculation, blah blah blah... it's the ending, I wanted an ending, where I could see an ending. Not an almost-ending, that says "LOL MAKE UP YOUR OWN".
I could just about put up with it if we were just talking about those three options, because you can kind of extrapolate SOME of what might happen afterwards. But the destruction of the relays throws the whole thing into chaos. The galaxy afterwards is going to be so different, that there are too many alternatives as to what might come next, that ultimately I just don't know what (if anything) I have accomplished. Ultimately unsatisfying.

There is no most about it...it's all.
But mostly I hate that all 3 choices result in exactly the same cutscene with a different colored explosion. It's the kind of thing you would see in games 10-15 years ago. It screams we couldn't hit the target date so we had to come up with a quick fix so upper management could cash their bonus checks. Not to mention it makes no sense from a literal interpretation standpoint. What, the Reapers built in the 3 mechanisms that could defeat them? One that could obliterate them and one that can enslave them? Retarded. It's no wonder so many people have turned to IDT as an alternative.

Yes, that too. I could have forgiven the nonsensical ending had I seen Shep cuddling up with Tali.

I hate the starchild, kinda knew it was something stupid about that kid the entire game.
Never knew it was the "pinnacle of evolution", I can not look at children the same way again without growing rage/hate for what the starchild has done.

That picking any of the endings compromises my perception of Shepard as a Hero.
I think the actual objectively worst parts are the Normandy Crash or the Synthesis gibberish, but they don't bother me as much because I find it relatively easy to pretend they don't exist.

The Normandy scene. The game turned into Gilligan's Island at that exact point.

The fact that my choices throughout the 3 games had NO impact on the ending. My choices DIDN'T matter.

That works too for my femShep. As long as I get to sacrifice the other VS (Ash in my case) in the red/green/blue explosion.

No, you lose, no matter what. You dont win, since they think its cliche.
Mine is the lack of any intelligence that was put into it. Which isnt very detailed, but who needs to be by describing the ending? I also always choose to destroy since it gives you a hint of winning, then you lose since it cuts to the Stargazer "DLC" foreshadowing crap.

Having the relays destroyed seems like such a waste, however, the relays are also there to stall and control evolving organic civilizations. The relays made FTL research less interesting sicne it wasn't needed early on due to the large amount of space made available through the relays.
The relaysthemselves are actuayl bad for galactic civilization and scientific development. The galaxy became a thirdworld galactic civilization that is depedant on more advanced technology that they themselves can't use or understand but it was provided at no cost. There for scientific reseach must be made at no cost to be competitive... That's never the case though.. Nothing is free. Therefor the relays are bad in the first place. For the player the interaction between the homeworlds of the different specis is more interesting than the future of said specis.
I don't mind of therelays were destroyed however Iagree it will be quite the shock for people who are stranded in "for them" inhospitable environments and in some cases colonies that are very dependant on imports from other worlds. The relaynetwork destruction will surely cause a lot of shortterm suffering and damage. It's probably for the best for the galaxy as a whole though.
What anoyed me the most was the catalyst conversation and the lack of playerchoices, dialogue exploration and interrupts to make this last showdown with the reapers memorable... a true conclusion to the reapers.. getting the reapers out of your system. being through with them. standing eye to eye with Space hitler/stalin and telling it what you thoguht about it and it's crazy "solution/s".
The second thign that anoyed me was that the end mission seemed a little rushed with hordemodes and lost opportunities and the background feedback of commintercepts didn't depict any chagnes to what was hapening around you depending on what war assets you had acquiered. After the initial space battle it mattered little if yu brought 2000 warassets or 20 000 warassets... This I found slightly dissapointing.
Also as you were moving through towards your goal you couldn't help other teams or people stuck in their positions... not in a real way that feelt like helping... It was mostly press forward and everyone else will press forward.
No enemy communications sabotage, patching up wounded soldiers.... or ethical dilemas. The missile launch and talking to old teammates from ME2 was ok though. the missile part was hordemode but, at least it had a storytelling element to it.
Yet again warassets played no role in any of those parts.
It was all: straight towards the beam where you get blasted by harbinger, then limp to the illusive man, the illusive man was ok.... the indoctrination control thign the illusive man had was weird though... but ok imo... the catalyst was where it all hit rockbottom all of a sudden... You suddenly realized that was all there was to it and all player input and choices were gone. The catalyst told you it's "truth" and shepard had nothing to say about it.. That last part was very unsatisfactory to me.

Also among the lesser gripes was that the battlefield in london seemed lesser than other conflicts where the whole galaxy hadn't come together to fight the reapers.
No fighters or gunships until you get to the beam cutscene where there is one gunship. On Manae there was even a fighter that crashed right next to you. The earth battle field feelt somewhat sterile and static. When you were fightign the reaper destroyer on Tuchanka it's giant legs were stomping you, fighters were attacking the destroyer... things were hapening.. On earth, the largest united millitary force in the galaxy seemed nonexistant and nowhere to be seen or heard.

1. The Catalyst.
2. The forced death of my avatar.
3. The ridiculous conjecture on inevitable conflict and the destruction of organic life at the hands of their creation.
4. The utter tripe that is Synthesis.
