I'm sorry people, but the only way the AA is useful on higher difficulties is with BE's, and you people resetting our detonations isn't very helpful at all. I'm looking at you, Salarian Engineer.

Overload overlays warp rather than resetting, and you can set off tech bursts with throw. So if you throw twice you get the TB followed by the BE from the original warp.

Non-Infiltrators rushing to complete the 1234 objective, or rushing to support the Infiltrator in completing that objective. If there is no Infiltrator then sure, it might take multiple people to complete. If there IS an Infiltrator then STAY AWAY FROM IT!

People who try to carry the pizza through the worst possible path when there is a much easier path in the opposite direction.

People who bring a low rank heavy weapon on a power intensive carrier, then fail to contribute anything to the team.

People who revive me right next to a banshee/phantom.

People who have a mic plugged in but refuse to communicate. If I'm in a party and we have a random in the group, I invite them or go into game chat. I expect the same courtesy.

This truly frustrates me also. I just dont get it. Unless your xbox freezes up (has happened to me), the network boots you off for whatever reason, extreme lag, wife yelling at you, baby needing to get fed.......dont quit! I have had so many matches like this.

I wish they instituted the system that Halo Reach has in regards to rank. If you are constantly quitting the games it should penalize you by reducing your rank. I only write this because I have seen so much of this in ME3 multiplayer. I am happy that Bioware at least now allows others to jump in the middle of the game now but...darn. Someone quitting on wave 7+ on Gold.....can be detrimental.

The only way i have been able to deal with this is to create a buddy list of ME3 players I enjoy playing with in different time zones. I have a full time job but sometimes I play mornings or lunch time or evening so I have a buddy list for mornings if I get to play...afternoon...and my main one for the evenings. This way we dont have the rage quit issue but playing in radom matches is tough when people are rage quitting. I deal with that a lot when I didnt have my list.

Yep I don't get it myself. I generally know before I start a match if I'm free for the next 30 mins or so. I've had to quit twice in total since the Demo came out: Once because my GF dropped a caserole on her foot when taking it out of the oven, and the second time because she was sick and the shop was closing in 10 mins and supplies were needed

Quitting because things aren't going your way is just plain childish

Re: biotics v. tech bursts

When in the mood to play adept, I equip an AJ or DA before quick launch - they're less dependent on delay detonation BEs should I find myself dropped into a game in progress. Only if I find myself in a lobby will I switch to AA or HSe (especially if there's a reave adept already).

If there are engineers in the lobby, I switch over to an engineer character and spam overload instead. The two crowd control classes don't really play well together, but biotic murdertrains or tech stunlock trains are both fun.

For me (and the fact I usually play Infiltrator) maybe not the most maddening but the most common irritation for me is when the entire rest of the team runs to the objective instead of letting me stealth my way to completing it....not because I oh so love doing it but because half the time it ends up with them drawing all the aggro to themselves, then dying there, forcing me to then embark on a game of bullet-tag with all of the enemies as I have to kite them around the map in order to give myself time to run to the objective and complete it amid their corpses. This is compounded in that more than once this has required me to use several missiles, and since no one else seems to want to use them that effectively leaves us with no missiles (or diminished numbers of them) later when they are ideally used.

When Vanguard charge doesn't work because of the lag or when my vanguard is stuck on walls of the map...

Everything else is fine. I just dislike broken games.

When is the start of wave 10 on glacier and I have a ton of medigel/missiles left, and a banshee teleports through a wall and magnet grabs and kills me, worse way to fail gold/glacier/reapers...

When I get killed and don't know what did it.

When I get instakilled by something and the team crumbles 20 seconds later.

When I am soloing a wave and I die to the bunch of swarmers that cut my escape route.

Agree with you 100% but the flip side of that is Infiltrators who won't go anywhere near an objective - I'm there looking at them saying, are you going?, No, Really ?

People that don't go into the hack circle because they want to get kills.

Few Exceptions though.

For Example, on giant, when you get the circle on the upper courtyard between the boxes, I want someone on the ramp to the right, behind the railing. Not only does he lock out the spawpoint below him, on the ammo box, allowing you to take cover in the circle, he can also provide excellent surpression fire to the spawnpoints near the dropzone.

I will usually make that suggestion, but won't be the one to do it, instead going to the circle, eventhough as a sniping infiltrator it would be right up my ally.

Unless people know me, they'd otherwise assume I'm just doing it for the kills.

There are times as a sniping infiltrator that I leave the cirle to 'get kills'. There are some hack locations where enemies can come from 2 or 3 locations, slowly surrounding the group. As a sniper, you are really no help in close range combat, especially in gold. So instead of allowing the group to get overwhelmed and force someone to waste a rocket I sometimes leave the group and move to a spot where I can flank the enemy. It makes more sense to me to leave the circle and slow down the hack a bit but make up for it by picking off the enemies preventing them from surounding the group.

Gawd this. Even worse the time I accidentally launched it all the way to nowhere.

What makes me mad is that this co-op game is not geared towards tech- and biotics characters playing together. I like both of them, though I mostly play engineer. But these days when there is an adept in the lounge, I seriously consider changing character just so we won't end up pissing each other off. It's kind of sad that this happens due to the mechanics of a game that's supposed to be about teamwork.

Tonight it's the host that rage quit at THE END OF ROUND 10 which was bitterly fought and which I had to solo to finish after he died. Yes, I could have just died and spare him the few mins of watching my human engineer solo the remainder of the wave, but I like to play for extraction. He is now in my block list. Ugh, really angry about that.

The 'interact is God' button:
When ur near a fallen ally and trying to dodge to cover or hit cover but the game forced you in the res animation out in the open (cancelled cause ur moving ofc).
When ur running around a corner from a Banshee or heavy fire and ur char decides its a good time to stick their ass to the edge of an obstacle and stay there.
Flipside of the first- When ur trying to res a fallen teammate in a corner but the game would rather have you waste time sticking to the two adjacent walls than res.

Else- stunlock (Geth), vacuum hands, lag issues & firing blanks (esp on rockets), lack of control when getting up from a revive and the long-ass standing anim, phantom hand cannons, hunters in general, vangaurd bugs, etc.. you know, the usual.

Bossy players who demand I play a certain way. The other day a guy yelled at me for accompanying the infiltrator to objectives 1234. The infiltrator got incapacitated, and he had to eat crow for it, because I had to go save him, with my engineer and decoy.

You know, like would have happened if I was there.

- People that only care about being the top-scorer.
- When I'm not the top-scorer with a group of randoms.
- Infiltrators that don't bother with objectives, pizza delivery being the exception.
- Biotics that don't trigger detonations.
- People who leave the area in the hack objective, and others who leave the rez them.
- My own lack of skill much of the time.

Edit: The evil goddamned 'A' button (Xbox) DEFINITELY deserves a mention.

I play mostly as a GE and I'll admit to having done that one a chain overload that went further than I'd hoped - the range on that is a bit elastic shall we say. In the end, most of the time I try and go where the AA isn't because otherwise it is hard to stay out of the way.

Ever since I learned to double-throw, the tech explosions actually are also appreciated, since it's more damage, and throw recharges basically as soon as the animation is up. If you have a mic, just tell them to throw twice.

What just made me smash a controller was a horde of four banshees in wave 10 (upload objective) that was COMPLETELY invulnerable to cobra launchers. I blew 3 cobras into them and the cobras just went poof, no damage at all. Oh, and then they face-smashed 2 people at the same time, face-smashed the third the very second he was done reviving me, and then face-smashed me before I was even up on my knees.
I'm done playing silver or gold, I'll stick to bronze, where glitches and insane lag don't result in instant death.

Edit: Oh, and I died once during that round. Supposed suicide. A husk teleport-pounced me while I was filling him with bullets.

When I die and think "ok, these 3 guy can take this wave alone, I'll hold my medigel for a better time" and then there is a show of stupidity and everyone dies.
