Suicide Mission 2.0 gets my vote. a few things that could have been added in would have been the showing of Shepard's slow corruption by Reaper indoctrination (which was pretty much established in the Citadel scene anyway), the saving of some strategic points on earth to bolster the Resistance, The destruction of Harbinger, and a real version of the Catalyst. I have trouble believing no one Xeno race didn't leave a PDF of the Catalyst's operations manual and suspicions about it
You are going to be SO bummed when the EC comes out and proves once and for all that indoc is NOT what was going on there. No siree. You are going to have to go with 100% head canon to get indoc to fit in dude.
Make sure you have family or friends around when you learn what the EC really provides (no indoc) so they can prevent you from committing suicide. Seriously. I mean it.
Priority Earth, what would you have done?

Indeed. All BioWare needed to do was look at the Suicide Mission for inspiration on how Priority Earth could've played out.DiscoDarth wrote...
I demand Suicide Mission 2.0!
But think how creepy it would have been if the star brat was a giant CHILD reaper instead of an annoying toddler? Just like the human reaper in ME2 but a creepy child. Kind of a mix between the human reaper and Stay Puffed the Marshmallow Man from "Ghost Busters!" Scary.

Not at all. The EC is not going to go indoc. It isn't going anywhere near it. It is the last and only hope the ITers (the truly and insanely hardcore ITers) have to hold onto. When it fails to deliver what they so religiously want, their lives will go pearshaped. Mental collapse. Suicide. I'm only trying to prevent some people from swallowing the barrel of a gun.

Not that much emotional investment in the idea really, but it would make a lot more sense than the previous ending

Well, in that case...you are not a suicide risk. I daresay, however, that you are "shouting string of obscenity" risk when the EC comes out and you are left with a slightly longer version of, "Wait. What?"
Obscenities follow, and even, maybe, the throwing of your game controller or mouse or whatever you use.
Take a deep breath before you throw something. Don't break your monitor or TV...aim for the wall. Then you will only need to buy a new controller and fix a minor ding in some drywall.

Simply arm all ships in the armada AND all soldiers with Cains. Viola! Defeat of the reapers without a single word from starbaby.

1. Take control of the Normandy and make your way through the space battle and reach Earth.
Bonus objectives: - save ships under heavy fire from Reaper forces
- destroy a Reaper before it destroys the Primarch's flag ship (hit weak points to disable it)
2. Shuttle run - after the Normandy reaches Earth's atmosphere, you make your way to the ground with the Kodiak shuttle, evading incoming fire from Reaper cannons, falling debris and shooting down Harvesters that try to destroy you.
3. Search & Destroy - upon landing, you fight your way through trenches and ruins while searching for a Mako in order to destroy 4 Reaper cannons and help Hammer land toward your possition. The fighting eventually takes you to Big Ben where you find a working Mako and then you begin to take out the various cannons around the area.
4. Boss fight: Reaper Destroyer - once all the canons are gone, a Destroyer lands near you, blowing up Big Ben in the process. You then attempt to fight the boss, while using the Mako to evade his laser and his stomps (insert hilarious Mako driving achievement here), while trying to maneuver in such a way to hit the weak point (the weak point being the firing chamber when it attempt to shoot you)
5. Cutscene - a Turian cruiser makes a suicide run on the Reaper and blasts it with its cannons before beginning to descend to its death. The cruiser crashes in the Reaper, smoke and debris flying everywhere, followed by Hammer landing at your possition.
Anderson then shows and sends a radio signal for everyone to gather at their possition for a final strike at the beam.
An entire army shows up, including your former squadmates. You then begin a final march towards the beam and when you arrive in a larger area, Harbinger descends at your possition and the final battle begins.
6. Final Boss - Harbinger
Shepard finds himself right under the Reaper, while everyone else desperately tries to stay alive, surrounding it and keep fighting. As a continuous army of forces assault your possition, you race around the area and defeat those that are trying to kill your squadmates. Once a certain force is wiped out, they throw you ammo for your heavy weapon. After shooting Harbinger 5 times, h begins to weaken and Joker makes a final run with the Normandy to disable him.
Then *insert your ending here*

Actually shown that the player wasn't alone and they had allies
Shown some of the Iconic parts of London - Houses of Parliment, Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge, etc
Krogan on ****ing dinosaurs
And a plan that didn't involve sending your entire ground team on a forlorn hope mission at a load of AA guns in which 50-60% of your ground units are destroyed before landing.

I would've shown the ME2 squad (and your assets) helping and communicating with you throughout the whole damn mission.
I would've expanded P:E so it was more than just a laborious horde mode.
I would've taken out the truly horrible STEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVEEEEEEEE line and the wretched voice reactions to it.
I would've had Harbinger in for more than a cameo. I wouldn't have had him fly off for NO. REASON. WHATSOEVER.
I'm sure there's more, but P:E is a joke. A shameful excuse for the ending of any game, let alone the conclusion to ME.

Then, the final cinematic would incorporate those choices and show you how the various battles played out depending on your choices and in-game performance.

I would of completely scrapped 'Priority Earth'.
Instead make the entire finale around the The Citadel. The Citadel is the key to winning, who ever controls it will end up winning.
If organics can control the Citadel, they can re-open the relays and allow the entire army of the galaxy to enter Citadel space and eventually move from system to system removing the Reaper threat.
If Reapers win, they can shut down the relays for good but allow Reapers to enter and exit freely without the fear of having too much trouble. Shepards body is seen on a pile of corpses in the council chamber similar to those found on the Collector ship. Sheps face is gaunt with fear stricken on his/her face along with your crew members scattered around the place.
Neutral ending ends up with the Citadel destroyed but Relays are intact and so is Reaper tech but everyone is on the verge of extinction.
This. Because more time is spent in the ME games building on the citadel as a major focal point. Earth while I'm personally quite fond of it. Its not really built up in the game the same way the citadel is, except the first 10 minutes of the game and oh Anderson is from London btw.

A final charge by the entire Hammer force
Dependent on choices, new and varied endings
Battle with Sovereign
Cuts to the epic space-battle going on overhead
Scenes that could make grown men cry

I would have drawn the battle out a bit, then I would have implemented a Dragob Age: Origins-esque system that allowed Shepard to call on allied infantry and possibly air strikes.
That's all I would change really, without entirely altering the mission structure at a basic level.
My thoughts exactly. And have all our teammates and stuff out at once like they did in the final battle of Origins as well. Would've worked nicely.
