I hate that not only is he cheating himself but he's also cheating the whole team out of credits. Thats just as bad as some people with a "high powered" weapons on the other side of the map getting them selves killed, which only ends up having the whole squad being killed. haven't people heard of teamwork before?

i would be well anoyed i dont like vangards to begin with and i rearly use them, they are a pain in my opintion when on gold as they alway run off or biotic charge ememies accross the map and get killed lol when looking for round i wont play with them i leave if i see one on the mission setup screen. no offience for people who like vandguard but i cant stand them lol

Imo, the whole team should have go near him to draw the aggro and get him killed or force him to drop the package, let him bleed out and make fun of him.

Sadly I was the only one who thought of that. I walked in circles around him while he used somewhat questionable language to describe my life, mother, and sexual orientation. Our other teammates decided that the other side of the map was the place to be.

Oh man - that's terrible. That makes me believe that the package mission is the most likely to draw trolls. And this is another reason that I joined a players group..

I do like the new package delivery objective but this is a reason to hate it. Usuallly a great player could carry a team regardless but now a troll can ultimately make a mission fail by doing this crap. I hope you reported him.

Is it possible he didn't know he had the package?  That happened to me yesterday where I picked up the package without knowing it.  I think I had been trying to revive someone.  It was probably like 20 seconds before I realized I had it. So embarassing.

Of course, but how much would depend on the scenario and my overall mood entirely.  If the entertainment value said troll brought to the table is worthwhile I may feel inclined to give them a "Your Nerd Rage Is In Another Lobby" pass. 

Sometimes presentation is everything. 

More often than not if you don't at least try to occasionally laugh off some incidents you'll run out of games worth playing.

Yep. Hopefully he'll get kicked via AFK, but then again, he anti-leeching. He's taking away XP and Creds instead of receiving them.

I queued into a Gold last night and surprise, landed in FBWGG. I'm not too proud to take free credits when they are available so I loaded my Infiltrator and we started. Some dude playing a Geth Engineer kept following me to the 1234 objective points on wave 3 despite my telling him I could do it myself. Then wave 6 rolled around and we got a pizza delivery. I grabbed the package, which was on the catwalks all the way on the opposite side from the landing pad, and proceeded to walk through the building with it. A Geth Prime managed to snipe me from up near the stairs and I went down. Before I could even Medi-Gel and grab the package back, the Geth Engineer grabs it and walks out the back door, then right up the middle of the huge kill box outside. He wasted like 4 Medi-Gel trying to run it that way until finally I got the package back, took it through the building and capped it, at which point the engineer rage quit. The second package was near by so I grabbed it and capped it, then died on the landing pad with a pair of Primes standing over me. At that point, the rest of the team had somehow managed to get themselves killed and we failed on wave 6. I didn't feel like wasting more gel on these idiots so I just bled out.

When carrying the package, THINK about the route you are going to take. You were a GETH ENGINEER WITH HUNTER MODE ACTIVE. You could SEE the pair of primes and the mass of Hunters, Pyros and Rocket Troopers guarding the path you were going to take THROUGH THE WALLS. There was a single Rocket Trooper guarding the other path, which took two quick shots to put down and I was scott free. Did you think Hunter Mode was lying to you or something?

i am pretty sure that falls in the "greifing" catagory.

That is definitely "griefing". You can report him for a Tier 3 cheating infraction.
