As stated above is anyone else getting this i play mass effect 3 for like 6 hours and it may happen on the odd random day that it crashes and i try to turn off the xbox and that wont work i have to turn it off via plug socket? its a new xbox and i always install my games.
And also it froze the otherday and a circle of different polygons appeared in the middle of my screen almost like a pie chart in various colours so has anyone ever had this also? ,this is the only game i have problems with now and then  mass effect 2 i never had problems with.
If bioware or ea are reading any info on what is causing this?

Personal opinion: if that happened to me I would be fearing the worst as that would seem to suggest the 360 itself has problems (like overheating). But then I have an old model 360; newer models shouldn't be as prone to the graphics chip being melted off the motherboard.

Your system may be overheating. This happens to me every once in a while. To fix this problem try installing the game/games you play a lot to the systems HDD. It will cut down on the heat produced by the disc drive and also prolong the life of your xbox's disc drive. Alternatively you should try turning your xbox off for about 30min to an hour after 2-3 hours of straight playing. It usually isn't the game itself that is causing the crash unless you are playing Gotham City Impostors (that game has it's problems though not as many as ME3 does after this last patch)

About your circle of polygons that would be what is referred to as an "Artifact". This mainly occurs only on PCs due to inferior graphics cards but I have seen this happen in ME3 while in a very laggy MP game. I just chocked it up to the lag (Lag does very weird things to many multiplayer games on the XBox 360 and PS3 I've seen everything from artifacts to invisible Player Characters and many more odd things)

I'm running into a new problem since the latest multiplayer download where while on Earth after taking out the Hades Cannon and getting evaced from the area with the Banshee and Cannibals the game hard locks after talking to the Major. I've had this happen twice in a row now playing for no more than 45 mins so probably not overheating since the weather here has been pretty chilly and I keep my windows open at night.

Normally I wouldn't care but every time it freezes I have to go through the fight with the damned Banshee again.
