Anyway, on topic, as for the RGB decision, they've said it will stay the same but the cinematic epilogues at the end will reflect our choices. So they'll be different. At then end. So there will be different ends. Different. Epilogues. HEY YO!
Tomorrow up until the 15th I'm betting we hear some fancy announcements! Stay calm!

It scares more to me that the DLC leak sounded like:
"TONS OF NEW MULTIPLAYER CONTENT! - oh, yes, and some EC-stuff for SP."
Have to agree here. I liked multiplayer initially but now couldn't give two farts about it. I want some news, even if it's tentative planning sort of news, about some SP DLC. Doesn't even have to be news about the EC.

The extended cut is called Extend Cut, not Earth.
The reddit post is a troll in action.
This is the same individual who predicted the other MP DLC.
Nothing said about the EC was different in his post.
You have nothing, I'm sorry.
The reddit post specifically says he is not the same guy.
The reddit post states that he was not the guy that leaked the (confirmed fake) "Truth" DLC.

EA's corporate goal is to bring multiplayer to everything they do.
It aligns with their goals to:
- reduce resale of their console games.
- reduce labour hours
- increase content reuse
- widen their margin
How do I know their goals? It's every corporation's goals when an industry reaches a plateau.
Those of us who are purely story-driven gamers, we don't fit into those goals.
The minute bioware went global corporate their existing fanbase started to fall out of the new bell curve.
All we can do is support the next company to do what Bioware has done... wait for them to sell out to a publisher and repeat the cycle... lol.
Also... exhibit A: Bungie.
They used to make awesome games of all types... and then they became a Halo making machine...
This scares me more than anything for the future of DA3. They've already essentially confirmed that it will contain some form of multiplayer--which is fine--but I'll be incredibly disapointed if it is included in the same terrbile way they did it with ME3. I don't want to be coerced into playing MP.

He was the indivdual who leaked the Rebellion MP DLC. Pay attention.
There was a leak for rebellion? I frequent these forums probably too much and I first heard about rebellion from Bioware, not some reddit leak.
He said "
Also, I'm not the same person that leaked the screenshot of the first DLC " which was ressurgance, not rebellion
Plus, the reddit guy says Earth is MP, not EC. Kind of like how all multiplayer has had a tagline.

Bioware NEVER said that the EC wont have gameplay. Never.
From the Blog:
What can fans expect from the Extended Cut DLC?
Are there going to be more/different endings or ending DLCs in the future?
- For fans who want more closure in Mass Effect 3, the DLC will offer
extended scenes that provide additional context and deeper insight to
the conclusion of Commander Shepard’s journey. What is BioWare adding to the ending with the Extended Cut DLC?
- No. BioWare strongly believes in the team’s artistic vision for the
end of this arc of the Mass Effect franchise. The extended cut DLC will
expand on the existing endings, but no further ending DLC is planned.
- BioWare will expanding on the ending to Mass Effect 3 by creating
additional cinematics and epilogue scenes to the existing ending
sequences. The goal of these new scenes is to provide additional clarity
and closure to Mass Effect 3.
Granted I see what you are saying in that they never explicity said. And many of the words they used are subjective to the reader.
A scene could be a gameplay set piece or it could be a cinematic scenes.
I guess I am just cynical.
I, therefore, redact my original statement but I adhere to my opinion that all we are getting is cinematics and no gameplay.
Thanks

He's the same guy (or account) that leaked Rebellion, but not the same infamous poster who said about the "Truth DLC", which has been debunked as bogus.
Also, about EC, he said it was his "leaking" the EC* that was the bonus to the post, not that the EC was the bonus to the "New" DLC.
*"Leaking" because he admits it's nothing we don't know, just "confirming" that it is, at least, in the final stages,
As for whether to believe him or not... Take it with a pinch of salt, but don't be surprised if these actually come out.

How many times does BW have to say that
the EC is not changing the ending just expanding on some things. At
least it should be out soon so the wait will be over and people can move
on to something different.
That's what the leaker said, that it'd add cutscenes to expand upon Shepard's choices. "Additional scenes and a new epilogue", ie, what Bioware said they would provide.

That's because with IT, there is no ending in the game and EC will hold the ending.
Just listen to people who complain about IT about "the game was sold to us incomplete if IT is true".

so what we get DLC confirming IT beat the reapers in a cut scene then what? wait for another DLC where we get some game play to beat the reapers. rather them just keep it simple And GIVE US A HAPPY ENDING ME3 would of been grate if the ending wasn't for it's fatalistic and depressing ending.
I'd take that actually...

I can see a multiplayer pack called Earth released.
But I believe Bioware has already copyrighted "Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut" so they won't go out of their way to change it to "Mass Effect 3 Earth".
Even on his latest update, he says he meant it as two separate downloads. Earth != EC
I have held the idea from the beginning though that they are doing MP maps concurrently with SP. So you'll see the MP maps even from ressurgance in EC.

I think its almost certain that the conversation with the catalyst will be expanded, like with Vigil in ME1,and conversation is gameplay. But yeah you are right,Bioware has been to vague about the EC,and we just dont know for sure.

I don't know why people keep saying ME3 was rushed. Remember they pushed it back from the winter holidays to March to keep working on it? Come on BSN. Just because you don't like the ending doesn't mean it was 'rushed'. Also, IT isn't plucked from the air, it's all in game hints. Some speculation is pretty out there but the core of it is interesting. I'm excited to see how it's handled in the EC.

If I remember correctly, it was supposed to be released summer of last year before the holiday shopping season. So it was pushed twice. Summer didn't make it. Then they projected holiday season and people were nervous that multiplayer was going to be announced. Sure enough it was, and the date was pushed back to early this year. They didn't give a concrete deadline until late last year I think.

Oh, I agree, not sure if you misread. I'm not expecting the EC until (at earliest) the mid point of next month (or I hope, so that Irish Highschool final year exams are over
So, yes, Extended Cut and SP DLC =/= MP DLC
As for MP maps with SP... Interesting, I can see how Earth would fit in.. (wasn't the attack focused on London though? ) but the Resurgence/Rebellion maps?.. Unless they slot them in as missions you can do anytime, I'm not sure.
