[Bushido Effect]

 Guy needs to get the stick out.  Im on Hydra and do that map trick, with TWO OTHER PEOPLE,  he sends me a MSG saying "You have been reported for cheating in Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer"  All formal and s***.  

Then I tell him get that stick out of your ass.

And I get "You have been reported for Vulgar language in text message"

WTF is wrong with these people?  I also told him TWO MONTHS AGO, someone else who doesn't know about the hydra thing reported me, and someone else, and nothing ever happened.  False report, only hurts that users reputation.

Have you had people do this to you?  I'm irritated.  Sorry had not a good day.  So apologies regarding that.

I would have leeched off of you out of spite. I want to play a legit game and work as a squad when i join a game. By doing that you are cheating the AI so if you feel like cheating then face the consequences. You might as well mod the game and give yourself infinite shields.

I don't know what qualifies as cheating, but I do know what qualifies as cheesy...and the Hydra trick is pure cheese.

I'm not sure, i believe it has something to do with being outside the actual map.

There's a specific spot on the map that allows you to glitch out of the map and safely snipe enemies without taking return fire.

This is the first I've heard of such a thing. I'll keep an eye out.

The point is its not a hack, but a spot on the map that ANY player can reach because its there. A glitch if you will. I didn't do anything deliberate to MOD the game itself. Never.

Seriously? It's not even a cheat... if you play well and only one person is over there, then that one person is going to be doing a whole lot of nothing and it'll show in the points.

Calm down. It's a funny little trick that really doesn't hurt anyone. And there are literally zero benefits to being over there.

Its only for grins - all four of us did it once. You run out of ammo up there, can be targeted by enemies, can also get stuck up there unable to even shoot weapons. Also you have to leave to do the objectives. Why only some of you would go up there is beyond me. Its a cool vantage point, but I would not consider it gives your team any advantage.

Thanks Talon.  Also I wanted to add that I've seen a good amount of MP, as my N7 is over 2000, so every once in a while I can play around if I wanted to.  It was on Silver anyway, and the team did well anyway!  As I said in the OP, two others were with me on and off, except the tightass all alone who doesn't know better.

It doesn't give an advantage and it's somewhat hard to get to, shouldn't be a big deal.

Someone showed me how to do it... I got up there and there was nothing to shoot at and no way to get ammo. Never been back since... I like the big fat ammo box right by there, where you can see the ball. I love that ball... it just looks magnificient.

OP.... going up there and using it as a tactical advantage when you're not supposed to be able to, is pretty much the definition of cheating. True... you aren't hurting anyone by being up there, except the rest of your team who isn't up there, b/c they have to deal with all the aggro now.

Abusing a glitch is always wrong, if you are in a spot that the enemies can't return fire because you are outside the map you deserve any punishment you get. Doing something you know is wrong and complaining about being reported isn't intelligent.

*edit* Apparently can be shot at by enemies, regardless though, getting outside the map is abusing a glitch/exploit and is reportable. Don't complain about it here.
