I don't know, I think it turned into a "No, Bioware loves ME the most!" contest. If he was using the host migration bug, or doing something to impact the game, I'd understand. But this isn't leeching, griefing, modifying the game, or even making yourself immortal - it's legitimately an area on the map where you can hide and take pot shots at enemies. It might have been unintended, but until such a time as a dev comes in and tells us we can't or shouldn't do it, I don't see the issue with using it.

 It's a **** move and people who do it are *****.

Why?

Because they aren't being team players in a team co-op game.  
The last time I saw this, Mr Elite Sniper Glitchcamper left the rest of us to do eliminations, hacks and uploads, as well as fight 80% of the waves.  He stayed up there even when we were getting swarmed by brutes and banshees on the other side of the map.  I noticed him jump to the LZ twice, presumably to ammo up, the entire match.

End result, the rest of us use 2-3 medi-gels and rockets each, he does very little but hide behind a crate and snap off shots for about a quarter of a wave.  What a super-elite sniper he was.

Oh, and his presence there moves the spawn-point. You know, the one most people draw a bead on at the start of the waves.

I guess people might like to try it out once.  But please don't stay there the entire match.  You're essentially leeching and not showing off your sniper skills, and being a really bad team player.  Not cool.

First it's not even a glitch, the falling part is a glitch, but the box itself is part of the map. You may as well ban the Banshees for getting on top of things, or for force pull, or for going through walls.

In fact it seems the Banshees have many glitches they exploit, ban them.

It is an exploit. Don't do it; it is cheating (you cannot be reached, and can teleport to LZ), and let your teammates to be almost decoys for your enjoyment.

I would report you too. I hate people glitching because they lack the skill to play properly, and it does affect my game because a lot of enemies will behave oddly, staying on the ground looking and shooting above without chance to reach you.

The point is its not a hack, but a spot on the map that ANY player can reach because its there. A glitch if you will. I didn't do anything deliberate to MOD the game itself. Never.

Using the spot on purpose IS a cheat. Doing it repeatedly proves intent.

Dude I could care less if anyone does it, and have been in games where people do it. Thanks for distracting some of the enemies, also when they get like five or six of them at the base of the box, KILL STREAK.

I don;t know if you know this but their is another Hydra Exploit, that control room right next to the dam. Okay if you put three guys in their you can pretty much hold the fort against anything as long as you have 1 turret, if you have 2 then it's just OMG easy. But don't tell anyone cause they will farm it and exploit it.

You lose the argument when you call somebody who sends you a formal, polite message "kid." It shows immaturity in insults. Also, exploiting a glitch like that one is against the Terms of Service, the thing you agreed to when you made your Origin account. Both of those reports are completely justified.

To be honest. For luls. You can fall through the map and teleport back to the LZ.

It's just a water park slide and people are getting mad.

i dont think its an advantage being there rly..sure you dont die easily but sometimes the game can drag on for quite a while when ppl camp up there...you might aswell do FBWGG if all you care about is the easy credits..so for me the spot serves no purpose.. and the fact that you can just roll back into the water and spawn at extraction zone kinda makes it an exploit i think...IMO..

I just want bioware to polish the game..the MP still kinda feels lika a Beta :/ alot of bugs and stuff everywhere..

Not really - the kid was taunting him. The message wasn't 'polite', it was brief and concise. That's not the same thing. If someone tells you that you've been reported for something harmless which most people don't even care about, you don't typically react with "Oh, what a fine chap! Thanks for that! :)".

It's the exploitation of a design flaw, and Priestly, Costa, or Abraham 'might' eventually come out of their shells to let us know if this is something we need to organize another witch hunt against the exploiters for, but they haven't. Frankly I don't see the big deal, but I'm a "Live and let live" kind of guy. Have fun with your pitchforks. :\\

Look at you all high and mighty as if you know what you're talking about lol.  This isn't against the TOS, it isn't an exploit, and 99.9% of us would think someone who sent us a message like that was a total **** and would call him all sorts of names, so give it up.

Don't you know Thomas Abram recently leveled up and used some points to buy new powers? Now he can use Smash on troll/spam topics and Slash on flame/abuse replies to beat the current speed records for forum policing.

My favorite is FB:W. Dying in on in the doorway of the bottom room and getting insta-revived and teleported to the beginning of the map. Saves my ass in an extraction every time...except when people use freaking rockets to kill all the enemies that were supposed to kill me...I don't understand people using rockets after the objective on wave 10. I got my money...now let's end this
