i think bioware has said thats ok. guess they dont want to fix it....idk.

If they declare it as so then sure. Although you are only cancelling an animation and not making it so you don't have to reload.

they wont say its a glitch i dont think. i even accidentally do it alot. theres no way to prove someone is just some hectic power spammer either.

Reload canceling is found in almost every shooter ever. It is a staple of COD and Battlefield I know and I'm sure it is possible in many many more games. There's not really much they can do except make sprinting/using a power/whatever impossible until the reload animation is done but boy that would be annoying

I know, just making a point that if the developer says something is a glitch than it should be punished. Reload cancelling is almost impossible not to do sometimes.

I agree that the attitude of vindictiveness helps nothing, but actively reporting with evidence is always a good thing. Even if it is decided by BW that this particular instance is acceptable people should never stop reporting questionable things like this.

I'm too busy playing the game to bother reporting for something which doesn't affect me. If we lose because of a lack of teamwork, then we lose and I call them out on it and kick them at the end of the match. I don't need to take it further than that.

I've followed this thread for long enough. Happy witch hunting, all.

Using an exploit to ones advantage is called cheating period. Instead of waiting for an offical to post why doesn't the "offender" send a PM or something to them? If this really is cheating at least he/she informed them about it and might reduce his sentence. Next order of business.

I have submitted video of how people get out of the map on hydra trying to get that hole patched. If you want to support the action of cheating, go right ahead. I dont support it and i'm doing what I can to get it stopped.

You can take a screen shot via capture software *fraps* or can use a digital camera to take a picture of your screen. It's the only way to show proof of a player out of map unless a BW employee joins the game.

shadowalker, i misunderstood your first post. i thought you were gonna take a picture of bushidos avatar and send it as evidence. i dont support cheating, but getting banned is a pretty big deal.... i wouldnt report anyone

Did anyone here play Borderlands? Remember the New Haven chest run? For those of you who didn't play, there were two types of chests in the game, white chests and red chests. white chests usually had crap guns in them while the red chests had a much higher chance of having really good guns/shields/mods. Well at a certain point in the game you got to this city that had 2 red chests and 3 white chests that would respawn every time you reloaded the game. Well people figured this out and would spend hours loggin in and out to farm this chest run which took about a minute and a half. Eventually they just changed the red chests to white chests and the run became basically useless.

This exploit seems similar. Borderlands was co-op and didn't really have a pvp aspect, sure you could brag about having awesome guns but it didn't really negatively affect any of the other players, they could still get just as awesome guns through "legitimate" methods. Honestly as long as using this bug doesn't instantly kill all of your teammates or make them lose credits or anything then what's the harm? and Bioware can change it and for those who got something out of it, well whoop de doo for them, it isn't the end of the world.

I don't support perment ban, I feel suspending would be better but some people might never learn to play they way they should.

Its alright. The few people I have ran across using this have added nothign to the game and just stood there on there perch and watched time after time as we worked our butts off to complete objectives and waves and than proceded to insult us for loseing a match. This needs to be plugged and the OP is almost bragging about how he gets away with it.

If this guy is cheating and nothing happens Bioware is sending the wrong message to other offenders. What kind of person insults your team for doing the work while you sit there doing nothing.

I'm sorry you're such an uptight lawman/Judge Dread/SS soldier.  

FYI I am a decent player.  Earlier others have said they played with me before, and I'm honorable, to them.  If you wanna judge so easily its your mind.  Yes N7 can mean nothing throw it out there first.  But as my N7 is over 2000 it means I've seen enough of the ins and outs of MP, the types of players and personalities online, and team dynamics.  

If you wanna believe I do this Hydra thing 24/7 365 thats you, sorry.  I play well enough to not care about others put downs.  Its my game experience. In the case of this OP, I showed 2 other people, one of them thanked me, and 60 secs later, we left and played as usual, objectives too.  Mission Complete.

I needed to relax more, I admitted to having a bad day.  And perhaps you should calm as well.
