Seriously? Oh, wow. I don't get some people, I mean I really just don't get them.

To this day is why whenever I end up applying palm to forehead I end up having to grit my teeth and go "Welp looks like I'm pulling double duty. Better step up the kills to make up for this knucklehead."

Your examples were ones that I enjoyed very much. Especially the mic ones.

I love when noobs try to screw up my sniper shots (on infiltrator) as I have cloak and can lead them into certain doom.

My most fun with it was getting 15 revives on a turian that was trying to block my shots at the prime that kept killing him. Pick him up, stunlock. Pick him up, stunlock. He rage quit after I got my medal though, and that cut my fun short.

Infiltrator talking trash to the AI, but finishes FBGiant Gold with <15000 points. Everyone else? 80000 or more.

Vanguards who charge Banshees, Brutes, Phantoms and Atlases only to get synched.

Biotic class players who don't know what BE is. "How'd you do that? Asayrees (n00b pronunciation) don't have grenades!"

What about you?  What sort of facepalming behavior tickles your fancy to the point of laughter?

1.) When people run to the extraction point right away on Gold and get killed within 10 seconds.

2.) When there are non-stop revivals during a Wave 10. Complete the objective you (insert explitive) because they just keep respawning until you do! ***this is my personal fav***

3.) When a Vanguard runs around, headbutting/Nova'ing/Lashing/whatever'ing everyting, then gets killed.....and no one revives him/her.

4.) When you see a player spawn into a live match, doesn't move and gets killed right away. Poor bastard, yet I laugh.

My Kroguard getting grabbed by an atlas on wave 9. Team was down and all that was left was two atlases following me. I was leading them around the openings, keeping a wall between me and their gun and hitting them with the reeger on their left side. It was taking forever. I charge and get grabbed. I should have just used a rocket.

Oh, and tac cloak dumping aggro on the team, especially when the team is 3 infiltrators plus something else.

Yeah, you need to know exactly what you're doing if you try that.  Charge will usually stagger them, so maybe they were counting on that?  But things with armor won't be staggered by Charge unless you detonate an explosion with it.  I think this is one of those "vanguard life lessons" that all eventually learn if they play vanguard.

I find it genuinely amusing when people mispronounce race names, too.  There was one kid who was obviously talking to his friend in the room with him, that pronounced quarians "qu-air-ians" and vorcha "vor-ka" as though he had never played the single-player and thus had never heard the actual pronunciation.  He was a decent player, but some of his rambling made me laugh.

LOL Unbelievable. That's the best part about being a biotic: the explosions.

I had a silver match at Firebase Jade, and not only were my teammates unable to handle themselves, but they all insisted on spreading out. They didn't realize that they'd have a better chance of not dying if they paired up. Spent the match following around whoever was being the biggest moron at the time. Bad players, but it was fun anyway. =]

Now this is what I'm talking about right here.  Justice via stunlock.  Delicious.

Not too long ago I was in a match with an Asari Vanguard and a Drell Vanguard. At the beginning of several waves, the Asari would charge right into a horde, get killed, and get executed before anyone could revive her (I would have done so out of pity). The Drell Vanguard was actually pretty good, and outscored me (though outscoring me isn't exactly hard).

At the end, the Drell Vanguard had about quadruple the score of the Asari

What's sad is that the imbeciles who do this don't understand wheat they're doing wrong. I made the mistake of telling an Asari sniper why they were 30k points behind the next guy, dying all the time, and why stasis doesn't work on armoured targets. The resulting rant about how I was "so low" caused me to pass out with laughter.

...And that is exactly why I refrain from using my mic in public matches.

Waste.  Of.  Time.

Especially on Xbox where even the most harmless of suggestions is automatically misconstrued as a war crime.  If you want to keep derpin' it up be my guest.  Just don't cop a hissy fit when the rest of us continue shooting whatever is left of the angry things trying to kill us while you spectate.

Oh, I had a major facepalm-moment last night....it was a gold/giant/cerberus and I played the quarian male infiltrator with the indra...so I'm sitting at the lower level sniping, makes a kill and suddenly hear someone wailing through the mic "YOU STOLE MY KILL!!!!" Then I see the message "dudewhateverhisnamewas quit the game". Here comes the facepalm-moment: It was the last enemy (a shocktrooper) on wave ONE!

I always try to be polite and do my level best to avoid sounding patronizing, a futile goal.

Seriously, try saying any of the following without sounding like a pretentious arse:

"Have you tried using lighter weapons with the Asari Adept to shorten your cooldowns?"
"Did you know that sniper rifles are much more effective on other classes, such as infiltrators?"
"Stasis doesn't work on armoured targets you know?"
"A Javelin, on an Asari adept?  You are clearly an experienced and skilled player, I hope I can learn something from watching you play this round!"

Extra points if you spot the odd one out...
<_<

I forget exactly what I cuss at the screen for, but often it is rather retarted shenanigans. I am sure that my teammates were facepalming at me bigtime as I was trying to figure out the Pheonix classes. Cerberus is awesome, but Bioware made some very situational characters to represent them. They cannot rely on their very situational powers, they really need to have versatile weapons. Hoping to get that Harrier soon.

...Oh how I wish I were exaggerating for the sake of cheap comedy.

90% of Xbox's pool of N7 1000+ players are mindless slaves to the Global Leaderboards.  They worship it to predictable fault.  In return for their daily sacrifice of countless hours wasted farming Geth, failing at R/R/G, rage quitting/accusing you of foul play whenever you outscore them, etc. it humors them with empty promises of eternal bragging rights within their emotionally unstable social circle.

Oh, and MLG sponsorship/Machinima contributor invitations.  Can't forget those now can we?

Getting caught up in a rez-a-go-round with team mates on Jade/Reapers/Gold. First guy goes down on the other side of the map, I haul butt over there to rez him, guy I was with goes down, I haul butt back over there to rez him, guy I just rezzed goes down again. I feel like a tennis ball but I'm laughing the whole time.

When I say Asari sniper, you're thinking Stasis + Headshot, right? Nope. Because this player I ran with today...was an Asari Justicar sniper. They were using Pull before shooting their sniper rifle. Pull is the only power this Justicar used, period. No Biotic Sphere. No Reave. Just Pull all the things.

Now, let's be fair. This Justicar wasn't doing too badly. Holding their own, saved my rear a couple times. But I was just really puzzled. Still, I figured...benefit of the doubt, maybe they're a freshly-promoted Level 1 with no points in Reave yet?

Then the match ends, and I discover from the scoreboard that the Justicar was Level 20.

Kudos, Justicar Pull Sniper, I salute you.

Salarian Engineers always crack me up on Gold. It's like they're all just so used to farming matches and putting their decoy in that one place on FBW that the moment they aren't there they don't know what to do with the decoy.

This is about six weeks back but was quite enjoyable none the less

Game starts with me as an Asari Adept, another AA, a Quarian Engineer, and a Human Soldier. Was playing on Bronze in a warm up match ( I need about 4-5 waves to get going when I first sit down)

I never checked the weapon loadouts (never do to be honest), and can't remember the N7 ranks, but basically with another AA there, I was thinking "BOOM"

First wave goes by and I notice that the AA is rocking a sniper rifle and going with Stasis/headshot - fair enough

At this point nobody is talking (but we all had mic's)

Wave 2 starts and the conversation goes something like this

AA: Asari dude, what weapon are you using ?
Me: Paladin 1
AA: You're totally playing the class wrong
Me: What do you mean?

And then he uttered these immortal words (This is a direct quote)

AA: Dude, you need to get your sniper rifle on

Now AA with a sniper rifle is something I will just never do so I was just really trying to be polite

Me: I'm terrible at sniping
AA: Thats the beauty of this class, you don't need to be good with Stasis - watch

Stasis
Misses headshot
Headshot

AA: Heeeaaaaaaadshooooootttttt
Me; good shot

The other two are just remaining silent and continuing on with the game

Me: I just prefer to use biotic explosions
AA: Yeah but then your dependent on someone else setting them up. Thats a broken tactic. What are you gonna do if your playing with tech classes?

At this point I honestly thought this was a wind-up

Me: Well I max out warp and throw and detonate the explosions myself
AA: You can't detonate your own explosions, throw is a useless skill to be honest. I just max out everything else

I was thinking - this is def a wind-uip cause the others haven't said a word

Me: Um, you can detonate your own explosions - warp, then throw, and that'll do it
AA: I'm gonna have to call you on this dude, not being a ****, but if you can detonate your own explosions I have to see this

At this stage we're at the beginning of wave 4, he's standing beside me just up from the LZ

Me: ok

Warp - Throw - Boom

AA leaves the session

At this stage the two randomers just break down laughing

Randomer 1: You need to get your sniper on, thats awesome

He just kept repeating this over and over again

Randomer 2: He's getting a friend request from me

At this stage both guys got were downed, and apologised but said they had to leave the game because they couldn't concentrate they were laughing so hard
