Still not working...

Is this an error in my computer? I'm using Widows 7 Ultimate 64 bits with DX11

what happens if you try to extract the patch manually (using winrar or Winzip v11+)?

It doesn't work...
I can't extract using these programs :/
They say that this file cannot be opened with them

Actually, I was mostly wondering if you "can" extract it manually... since if it were to error in the extraction it might tell us what file was causing the problem

Hmmm.... it's unfortunate, but this is the weekend and so the Biowarians are going to be home with their families (unfortunate for your problem, not for the people who need a day or two a week to rest). I'm going to ask you to try to download the patch once more (but from the following link where I just uploaded the version of the patch I installed) http://www.filefront...agonAge1.02.exe just hit "save as" and save it to the desktop...

Hmmm... can you pull up your Microsoft update and see if it's getting both required and optional updates? If it's not, can you have it get the optional ones as well and force install everything now and then retry the patch...

My computer's "Automatic Updates" feature is everytime on...

And every week I search for new updates to my computer...

Maybe there is an error in this new installation patch

someone (inside or outside the bioware) should know what this error [29] means...

Yes, most systems have automatic updates turned on... but there are optional ones too... if you don't get those, often you'll find issues while gaming. This is because most of the "optional" things are intended for people who do more with their systems; that means gamers.

That's fine and all, but I was actually more interested in the common solutions. As such things go, number errors are the least helpful of all troubleshooting types with new patches.

Hey... this software works fine :happy:
But we need to found a solution who uses the bioware official installer, because it writes in registry and others =]
But thanks for talking about this software (I was searching something like this :D)

@JironGhrad:
yes...
when I told about "every week I search for new updates", I was telling about these optional updates... sorry
the other optional updates avaliables are packages of another languages
e.g. pack of german or chinese language

There were several new optional updates for me (XP SP3) just today, though other than a new root certificate update, I don't think any of them might be applied to Win 7

Languages how fun. Reminds me of the time my brother accidentally change his Windows font to Wingdings. Talk about a massive pain to unsnarl...

Wingdings = simbols =]
I think it was very hard to fix... a really big headache :sick:
