I got the the shower scene well before commiting to other characters. I'm curious as to whether you can lock in Traynor as your love interest, or is the shower scene the exent of her "romance." Because if there is nothing else to it, and she doesn't have a scene later where she gives you the old Mass Effect before the final mission consoling scene or SOME KIND OF DIALOGUE to wish me luck, I'm thinking about choosing another love interest (if it's possible...I've heard it is.). I'm at that point now where Kaidan and Liara are waiting for my reply, but I'm not sure how to proceed.
Traynor fits my character the best, but if all there is to it is a shower scene and there's no real commitment...well, that kind of sucks. My poor Shepard already had to lose Thane. Having an empty relationship with Traynor before she has to face the music doesn't feel all that satisfying.
I have a question regarding romancing Traynor

I watched a video of the whole Traynor romance on YouTube; it was really rather sweet. Also, it was hilarious because the uploader inserted the saxophone from "Careless Whisper" into it.

She can live in ME 3 and be romanced. You just have to tell her to change her ID. I got the romance achievement for Kelly in ME 3 and was still able to finish a romance with Liara. 2 for price of 1 is always nice.
If you are saying she died for you in ME 2, I apologize for misunderstanding you.

No, she's right there in the refugee camp. I just never told her to change her name. Either she kills herself or Cerberus shoots her. Must remember to tell her to change her name.

sam is locked in as li after shower. you get another romance scene before tim base where she calls femshep princess. and than get a good conversation with her before going to earth

Funny, she lived to the end of ME3 in my game. The choices you need to make to keep her alive are so obvious and telegraphed that she only has bad things happen to her if you set out to kill her.
