What makes Chantry Seekers so special? I originally imagined them having some special capability of perceiving corruption in individuals. Perhaps, they have a third eye giving them such insights. Unfortunately, they're just human, and have no special discerning abilities.

They are pretty much the elites of templars. Though it would be worth noting if all seekers take lyrium, they do not exclusively promote from within the templars, I think.

Pretty much what Tommyspa said they are just the Chantry's special task group. Not necessarily a templar. Both Casandra and Leliana are sekkers and they dont seem to be taking anny lyrium.

Lambert had some sort of ESP far beyond what any Templars displayed in the book... so I guess they have some form of advanced abilites beyond that of the Templar.
