Nope, the hatred is used on a games magizine who doesn't like Dragon age, any game that isn't a traditional wRPG and any one who prefers to play a console to a PC.

Why add Defence lawyers to that list?

I was a scene of crime officer (Brittish CSI) for a year and lets just say that most of the really sucessful defence lawyers are sub-human parasites that feed off other peoples misery(I cannot go into details or I could get myself in trouble).

which is EXACTLY why they can actually be honest in their reviews, rather then pander to the big game corporations.


I wouldn't give it a 5 out of 10 though, maybe 7 out of 10, its a decent game with a great story and world lore, but the game itself is just... old.

That means I won't be relying on Edge's reviews to buy games that I want.

Personally, I thought Dragon Age deserves at least 9/10. But seeing as Edge's taste in games is different from mine, I cannot use them to buy the games that I want.

There's Wrpgs with great stories and there's Jrpgs that blow those stories out of the water. Let's judge the game by its main genre RPG not where it came from. >_>

Just a pet peeve of mine.  I have a friend who is a defense lawyer.  Something he said to me one  day "Even the innocent need a defense lawyer"

I have been told that but I always reply "Yeah but a innocent person doesn't need a really expensive one with a history of getting cases throwing out on technicalities".

Jeez all this bashing because the game you like didn't get a high score. Its like children being angry at a contest because despite their efforts being recongized by others and given several awards didn't get one from X company because it wasn't what they liked. NM the fact that they have valid opinions. >_>

Psh. Your weeaboo RPG couldn't possibly have a plot as amazing as "SAVE THE LAND FROM THE BLIGHT!"

If you were asking me, I say I don't trust Edge magazine. They said Mario 64 is the best game ever made in the only one magazine I bought (never again after that) even eclipsing MGS (in a year where people go all action crazy!) - really, do they play games? Or just write their opinions no matter what? I never read Edge again - besides they put columns of articles that were boring to read.

I missed EGM....

Lets see, Mario RPG 3 on the DS got universaly better scores from DAO  as well. Oh oh, you will not agree. That cant be true. A  "kids" game, with no blood, with no 3D visuals, with no "seriousness" that is out on the freakin DS is better than the mammoth masterpiece that the people at Bioware have worked for years?  Call the game police. I  DEMAND  for the Mario RPG 3 to be lowered in score just to make it seem that DAO  is better

Indeed, the Xenosaga trilogy storyline for example was so complex that after several playtroughs i still haven't gotten it completely, not mention Xenogears

Dragon age is easy though, save the world from an undead dragon and it's horde of nasty creatures, that kill people because they've nothing better to do.

If you prefer Super Mario bros arpeegee then you are welcome to it. I prefer a story deeper than saving the mushroom kingdom.

They rated Assassins Creed 8/10 and Call of Duty 9/10 you can see what kind of games they like. Ones without depth and rehashed missions like AC.

This should be required American History in school. Super Mario Bros. 3 is beyond epic.
