It's funny when all these gaming sites ask actors and artists about games, and they always hint that they're not interested but in the most polite way possible and always with one excuse or another, to avoid nerdrage... we know what happened when a writer dared to voice the personal opinion that playing the games was the least interesting thing in relation to games... reprisals were massive and planetary, not unlike a reaper invasion.

it's as if Harrison Ford HAD to be a star wars enthusiast because he played Han Solo...

Nothing she says upsets me. It doesn't present anything different from what I was told back in April. Nothing.

That's what it said. Clarification, Closure and Answers.

That's what I want and what the game needs.

Clarification: Yes, it is indeed a turd.
Closure: We hope you are happy with the turd.
Answers: The turd is brown with speckled bits of corn.

There I just saved you however many months are left before release.

Oh, grow up.

:innocent:

Taboo I know that you want to believe in bioware and all but, its really time to stop being the eternal optimist. Bioware is a shell of what it used to be. No matter how many sprinkles you throw on a turd, it will always be a turd.

Image IPB

This isn't any deviation from the original statement. Nothing's changed.

Mine and about a million others. Stop trying to sugar coat the game, its a damn turd and will continue to be a turd even after the EC is released. People need to realize that this isn't the same bioware that made baldurs gate, mass effect 1 and so on. That Bioware is gone.

You can't introduce a new antagonist 10 minutes before the game ends and expect people to sit back and be cool with it. And that's exactly what happened with ME3. If a movie did something as stupid as that, with no explanation it would be ridiculed until the end of time. Videogames are no different.

BioWare from the start: There will be no new endings.

Reaction when news slips out closer to release: THERE ARE NO NEW ENDINGS! I AM SHOCKED AND APPALLED!

Do not use a bandwagon fallacy. There are not millions of you. Do not use an unknown to justify your reasoning

You're going to have to compromise, like all adults.

Nice compromise there....<_<

I'm no fan of the ending, but you're attempting to say someone's opinion is invalid simply because it isn't the same as yours, with absolutely no justification other than "I think it sucked". Had you structured your argument in a more rational fashion, I wouldn't have taken offense.

If you're cynical about the EC, that's fine, you are entirely entitled to your opinion. To foist it upon someone with such condescention however is uncalled for.

I bet the actor delivering the last four lines of the catalyst didn't think it was significant either. Context is more important than volume.

Well she either is sticking to protocol and scripted PR speak or completly ignorant to the situation and hasn't a clue as she admits to not playing games anyway. We can but wait untill EC, but on a side note at least now i know what she looks like in person.

They are compromising. Perhaps if people payed attention more, this wouldn't be an issue.

Spending four or five months on something and spending millions of dollars to do it sounds like a compromise to me.

And it's free.

Says the guy that got all immature and accused talimancers of making the weird al video replacing miranda. Seriously dude, you're the true definition of eternal optimist. How many more times are you going to sit back and let Bioware spit in your face and insult your intelligence?

"Hey, you were all too stupid to get our ending, so let us explain it for you, you retards" - Bioware.

If the above quote on what they basically said doesn't insult your intelligence there is no hope for you.

No one needs the ****ty ending explained, clarified or expanded on. You can't cover **** with more **** and expect all of us to suddenly like it. And yes, there are millions of people who hate the ending to this game, just because you don't see them posting here doesn't mean they don't exist.

All you children are crying for nothing.

Bioware is changing the ending, they're just not going to tell us until it is out.
They know full well that is the only way because you can't polish s**t and expect it to be something other than polished s**t.

Hence it is taking so long.

Or they're spending time and effort to salve Hudson and Walters' egos rather than sit them down and make them accept that they messed up.

And it's free.

I recall a gag I saw years and years ago.
A man plays a terrible game that's so awful he has to get rid of it, so he gives it to a passerby for free.
The following week, that same passerby returns and says "That was awful! I'll punch you in the face, for free!!"

The moral being... something being for free doesn't automatically make it acceptable.

I said it made me upset. It was in jest. YOU have assigned that meaning to my posts. If you hadn't figured that out by the time I made the OP you have an issue.

I don't like it either, but it cannot possibly get worse.

I work for producers. Bioware has been MORE than gracious to me.

Sounds like a little of both - the full quote is this:

"I think people were disappointed, and I think they were looking for more. I think they’re doing more downloadable content. I’ve been in and recorded some dialogue, and I actually have another session on Thursday… The sessions I’ve had so far have been really simple, and Bioware’s not changing the ending, but it’s explaining and justifying it more."

The bolded part is what threw me a bit - she thinks they're doing more DLC? As in after the current DLC that she's voicing for ... ? Or does she not know what she's currently doing the voice acting for?

Please do show me where I have ever stated that someone elses opinion doesn't matter. My exact words have always been when are you guys going to get tired of bioware spitting in your faces and insulting your intelligence. No where have I said you have to agree with my opinion or the millions of others that hate the game.

I am not talking down to you or anyone else in a condescending tone either, as I am asking legitimate questions. So again, if you don't mind please point out where I have ever insulted anothers opinion and demanded that it be more like mine. You can't because it doesn't exist.
