The "Pick a color" nonsense again? Yeah, 'cause the only difference between those rather extreme choices are colors. Killing is the same as merging DNAs. And ooh, domination is totally the same as killing too.

Yeah, ever so WITTY.:bandit:

You're missing the point. The issue isn't the endings' implications, its the fact the represenation of three radically different concepts is almost identical in each ending, save the colours. It's lazy, especially considering the greatly differentiated endings that were promised in the pre-release marketing.

Same as in ME1 and 2 with Red and Blue. Didn't care then, don't care now.

I seem to recall and interview that said that this was our story and that our choices would matter. More lies from casey and the gang.

I'm so glad you don't care. Now accept that some people do.

It's their story. Not yours. Or mine. If I don't like what they did with it, I'll move on. While I am invested in this series, I am not so fond of my own opinion that I feel entitled to tell a creator what to do with his creation. That goes for videogames too. Disagree, sure. It's simply how I feel.

If you dislike what they did with their OWN universe, sure, tell them that. I fail to see what constant vitriol will achieve though. *Shrugs*

I just... Yeah. I don't even care about the EC anymore. It's obviously going to be a bandaid on a gunshot wound.

Mac Walters didn't create the story, hence by your logic it's not his.
Why does he have the right to veer it into a direction that completely destroys it again?

Maybe it might at least save/redeem the Dragon Age universe...I prefer fantasy over scifi anyway...and I don't want to see the same lazy endings in DA3...

ME1 and 2 weren't the ending of a trilogy, neither did they advertise widely divergent endings. Their endings can be (and for the most part were) expanded upon in the sequels. ME3 doesn't have that luxury, so what we have doesn't cut it.

COD? Never played that.

Where do you get that from again? I am puzzled. I am invested enough in this series to write fanfic among other things. Just fyi, dearie.

This almost 32 year old "kiddie" is amused by your assumptions and...well...sorry to say but....what's the deal with dissing COD players? It's not my game at all, but geez. The arrogance sure is telling.

I love ME3 because it moved me. Because I enjoyed the game. Yeah, no, scratch that...it was COD that made me do it! A game I have never even played.

I don't know which is worse, the fact that you tried to use medea to compare us "people the got our feelings hurt" or you saying that we are somehow butthurt over the fact the game sucks. You want to know why people are pissed?

Try the fact that casey and mac lied to us all less than a week before the release, no ABC endings we promise, try the fact that they added a day 1 dlc that should have been in the game to begin with, try paying 80 for a game that has one of the ****tiest endings in videogame history only to have Bioware come in and basically say "oh, you're all retarded, let us clarify this for you"

And yet you don't expect people to be pissed off by this? Sorry dude but this goes a lot deeper than feelings being hurt by a game.

Oh, I dunno. Wasn't Medea "lied" to and betrayed by Giason? :wizard:

Us? Who's this "us"? The game "sucks"? Yeah, ok.

I don't give a damn about PR promises. Never have, they are usually white or outright lies one way or another.

I got the DLC for free.

Bioware never said that an the opinion on the ending is just that.

And that's dudette to you. Deeper? Oh yes, I am basically crying my eyes out. Seriously, enough with the bloody melodrama!

Medea is lied to at least once per tyler perry film, you can't compare a film to a game. Tyle has never come out and said "this is your story, your choices matter" so you're comparing apples and oranges when throwing out medea against anti enders.

Again, you obviously don't have no where near the time half of us have invested in this game, doing a perfect playthrough of 1 and 2 only to see that nothing promised to us actually has any affect on 3. You might like being lied to dudette that doesn't mean the rest of us do.

Or maybe its like I said you're a cod kiddy and didn't really care much about the series to begin with, like most other cod kiddies. If that's the case it explains why you don't care about how the series ends.

Don't recall that franchise needing redemption or saving, but sure.

Different teams though, entirely different. So one shouldn't have much influence on the other.

I diss cod because of what its done to the videogame industry. And you could be 50 and still be a cod kiddy. Its not based on age at all.

Which parts actually moved you, because, only two really mattered and that was rannok and tuchanka. Stop calling me dearie it makes me feel young.

COD is gamer slang, it's like calling some a **** when they've never ****d.  You could've invested years into Mass Effect, and like the ending, and you're a COD kiddie. It's like, you could be a virgin, get married a virgin, and someone will still say you're a ****.

It's really, really stupid.

Don't worry you're not the only one who was moved by 3, and loved the whole trilogy.

MEDEA. as in GREEK TRAGEDY, not MADEA. And I was likened to an ignorant "COD kiddie".... *Headdesk*

The irony, it screams.

Yes. You still don't get it, do you?

I've been a ME fangirl since the first one came out. I did several completist runs of both games to have several "perfect saves", even replaying 1's idiotic DLC. I care a great deal. I don't care for overblown melodrama.

Hey Perse, I thought you gave up on the BSN months ago and called all of us who hate the game/endings "whiny self-entitled fanaticals" just because some people didn't agree with you. What are you still doin here? Are you going to make a new blog post after this argument where you cry some more because once again you could not change people's opinions? How about accepting the fact that some people despise ME3, some people despise the endings.

The point is simple, there is pressure/heat on Bioware that we do not see. Since ya know they need to do this to help solify certain futures they will have which Taboo has repeated many times over the past while.

When people who despise ME3 accept that some of us liked ME3, then we'll accept that people despise it.

It's a give and take.  I'm fine with people not liking 3, or just 3's ending, and I"m fine with people liking it all.
