I'm actually being honest. Not condescending. Lucky for you BW's Shep matched up to yours. Mine didn't. That's not snarky. It's the truth.

My Shep was mine. Sorry it didn't work out for yours though. That does suck. I would have liked more options btw. I missed the neutral responses.

Poor Shep's just too primitive for Javik.

I never said your Shep wasn't yours just that he/she matched up closely to BW's canon Shep. My Sheps didn't thus I was forced to bend them to play the game and while that worked with Guardian (I just had to kill a few extra squaddies off in ME2. Bye Tali, Jacob and Jack) it wouldn't work for my other Sheps.

(That and I love the renegade version of Tali's LM speech. I use that on all my characters. Paragons or no. Being nice doesn't mean you can't chew someone out when necessary).

I was saying that earlier; it's one of my favourite parts of the game. Shepard yelling "Leave my crew out of your political bullsh!t" is simply amazing, especially when I get to follow it up with the "I didn't represent one of your people, I represented one of mine" line.

And my Paragons get denied it, which is truly unfair.

Yup that line is awesome. :D And yes the last line makes it even more epic.

And yeah paragon deprivation of that line was fail. Just completely unnecessary.

Here's a hopeless wish that they took the time to record some extra between-mission interaction.
It's kind of depressing, how Ashley isolates herself in her cabin and never has anything to say.

What's also bad is when Paragon and Renegade persuades actually lead to different outcomes. My Paragon Sole Survivor Shep can't shoot the Cerberus scientist on the Corporal Toombs mission, for instance, no matter how much I want him to. Simply becaue "only Renegades can do that lol".

Medea is lied to at least once per tyler perry film, you can't compare a film to a game. Tyle has never come out and said "this is your story, your choices matter" so you're comparing apples and oranges when throwing out medea against anti enders.

Again, you obviously don't have no where near the time half of us have invested in this game, doing a perfect playthrough of 1 and 2 only to see that nothing promised to us actually has any affect on 3. You might like being lied to dudette that doesn't mean the rest of us do.

Or maybe its like I said you're a cod kiddy and didn't really care much about the series to begin with, like most other cod kiddies. If that's the case it explains why you don't care about how the series ends.

MEDEA. as in GREEK TRAGEDY, not MADEA. And I was likened to an ignorant "COD kiddie".... *Headdesk*

The irony, it screams.

Yes. You still don't get it, do you?

I've been a ME fangirl since the first one came out. I did several completist runs of both games to have several "perfect saves", even replaying 1's idiotic DLC. I care a great deal. I don't care for overblown melodrama.

Sorry dudette, I'm not into greek mythos. Should have known by your name though that you are big into it My bad for not paying attention. See there's a difference between me calling you a cod kiddo and not realizing you were referring to greek mythos. So how does it scream irony? Not everyone worships greek mythos.

*shakes head* And this folks is why I rather just have a persuade option rather than having it attached to Paragon/Renegade. Paragon's can't be vengeful? Blargh.

And that's also why I always cheat and max out both my P/R scores. :D

Hrm.

To be completely honest, I never expected the extended cut to change the ending. I was hoping that it would. But I didn't expect it to, and frankly, I could handle most of the consequences of the endings, but how we got there bothers me greatly.

My real hope is that they're going to make an LotSB-esque post-ending DLC. I know, pipe dream, but hey...

Well, as long as it's not just the Animal House style-ish thing, that the "new" Fallout games did, with each NPC narrating their own epilogue...

If there is a demand, and a loss of proftis it does not matter who it is. Just saying it is a bunch of whining nerds proves nothing to you. They is pressure from people we do not see on them to make sure this is a quality product, or designed to please enough masses to buy more DLC or continue buying games. The annoucement showed they are trying to rebuild and investment, and puts a lot of pressure on them not just from fans but from the people who pay them the checks to deliver to keep making future profits.

There is tonnes of internal heat on Bioware to make sure the investment of your whining nerds, gamers, and newcomers will come back for another installment. They would not be spending money on this if they did not expect they can gain it back in a 1-2 to reinvest in the next game(s).

Pfft you honestly believe future sales will be significantly impacted by EC? Ha, ha and also ha. For every old time fan that swears off Bioware (and the number of those will be far less than these boards will have you believe) three more CODtards will take their place. The announcement was only meant to silence the opposition and silence it it did. All Bioware has to do now is make a token effort only. Maybe it was inevitable. I don't know. What I do know is Bioware isn't putting in half the effort you think it is and they're required to put in even less.

There is one thing you should learn. Everyone can be brought back, the people who come swearing off something always come back, cause it is a safety net. When a new service is rolled out by our competing ISP we lose 10% of resedential base. After a year they all come back cause something came an offer or an extension back to their safety net which they could not deny.

If EC is good people will come back that is realism. People can be sheep and heared to accept things, if you want to be more obtuse, and attempt to belittle it will only look sloppy on you. This is how buisnesses go they took a bad hit now they work harder trying to bring people back.

It could be worse. YOu could be a Metroid geek who hated Other M.

I am. A thousand poxes on Sakamoto for spitting on Gunpei Yokoi's legacy! A THOUSAND POXES!

It could've been better and used less cutscenes.

I don't care about that so much as I care about Sakamoto turning Samus from a space hero doing her job to a battered housewife who doesn't have the cognitive ability to activate her heat resistant suit IN FREAKING LAVA without a man telling her to.
The biggest insult is Sakamoto claiming "this was always our vision for Samus' character". Yeah, right.

As an aside Adam Malkovich is one of the top 5 characters in all fiction I'd throw out of an airlock.

I can agree with that.

People are sheep and will come back regardless. So why bother giving them what they want? Hell the better we are at this media thing, the more we can tell them what they want.

How many people upset about the holes in the ending are now hanging on to "closure" like it's the ****ing stairway to Heaven?

Wake up. Bioware/EA had exactly one problem. People were starting to pay attention to a group of upstart nerds. They needed those nerds silenced and silenced they were. The rest is irrelevant. Buy more DLC!

This seems likea large hit against IT we now have comfirmation from multiple sources that the ending is what it is , and EC will just Clarify/Justify the current ending. I'm not happy about it but it is what it is. The only thing that could be even considered neutral to IT could be the explaining part, but since IT would have to include a new ending that's out of the window.
