Warriors will be able to roll out the way of enemies and any direction thisRogues will be able to flip out of the way by using cartwheels for left and right and flips for front ,and mates will be able to teleport out of the way as there unique dodge.

Um ok.

Isn't that what we had in DA2? Each class had a different escape ability. I suppose if DA3 incorporated the 'rolling' that shepard did in ME3, then yes it would look odd for a Mage to do it.

That's why mages should teleport out of the way.

I rather the warrior not dodge, but knock enemies back giving you time to escape.

They seem to teleport just fine in da2.

Tell that to all the mages in 2.

They're gods, not mages.

*teleports out of thread*

They don't teleport. They alter time and move really quickly.

Dodging should just be an automatic thing applying your stats, like in DA:O... I don't want huge life bars and both my character and the things and people I'm killing to be standing there taking hits like it was nothing and just swinging wildly with no reaction from the receiver of each strike, with the only dodge really being a stun or immunity skill every ten seconds that might also happen to move my character.

If I build a rogue (or any other class) to dodge attacks like the duelist from DA:O (favorite class spec), I want my character to be actively dodging every attack they can smoothly and staying in the fight, not jumping wildly out of the way like.. Zelda or something. I enjoy the combat dance visually, not the gamey jump/dodge and strike mechanic. I avoid those games for the most part. Combat doesn't need to slow down either, you just need the engine to smoothly animate both the strikes and counters simultaneously, as a pair. Even better if you could, for instance, simultaneously, contextually dodge multiple attacks at once like say, the counters are animated in the Batman Arkham games.

The rogue backflip stun.. whatever. It or something like it can still be a stun skill, but don't take away my stat-based auto-dodge like DA2 did. I hated that.

Alter time to move quickly they just said that but its teleporting also that means mages also have super speed how are Templar's gonna catch them running at that speed so the mages In Da2 are arcane rogues moving real quick to avoid attacks and using illusions to hide. They must be running at light speed if its not teleporting.
