Audio works on everything else, but not once I start the game, It has made everything more difficult and I've changed all the settings on the PS3 and tv, but none have fixed this problem

I've had audio problems with Mass Effect 3 as well though not in which you say that the audio goes out completely. Its actually a regular occurance where that audio goes out for a second or two in both multiplayer and single player. I have nothing against Bioware, I love them for creating such a beautiful and rich franchise, but there is no way I can believe that a bug this frequent could get through any QA tester, which I definitely question whether EA or BIOWARE employ at this point.

no it's the same as you. i meant like my ps3 menu, neflix messaging store and movies all work (well, a few netflix ones wouldn't work, but that was netflix fault

when I click on the disk to start the game, no audio comes in when I enter mass effect 3 at all. It just started the other day, it just cut out and won't come back

I have had the exact thing happen to me with Me3 and and other software, including Netflix. Whenever this happened I just disconnect the HDMI from the tv and console then re-connect, sometimes it may be the HDMI. I know you probably think it's not your HDMI but just try it the next time. It may fix the issue your having. Hope this helps ^__^

Probably not it, but did you check the sound setting under extras? That's the only thought about the situation that cross my mind.
