In the last couple of days I've played several games with stuttering problmes (explained below).  The problem isn't consistent and it appears to be lag related but not sure.  My computer is relatively new, no other problems and drivers up-to-date.

I played several games last night with a group of buddies.  On the first game I encountered the stuttering problem a couple times and a few of the ammo boxes (Ractor) didn't work for me at the start of the wave.  In the next game, one of my buddies complained of the same problem.  We switched hosts/leader and didn't have the problem for the rest of our games together.

The problem seems to be getting worse.  Of the last 4 games I've played, I've had this occur twice.  Whereas before the problem rarely occurred.

Stuttering:  Audio and Video momentarily freeze causing a 'stuttering' of the audio while dropping frames.

Yep, the same thing has been happening to me for the last week or so. Throughout the demo period before the game was released until about a month ago, I was able to run the multiplayer mode without any problems other than occasional rubber-banding caused by lag spikes in the my internet connection.

I just returned to the game after a hiatus and it's borderline unplayable now. Nothing has changed on my end, so it makes me wonder if one of the newer updates has somehow altered the way the game performs on my system. Curiously, it's only in multiplayer when I lag, and not during singleplayer, which leads me to believe it might have something to do with the host's connection.

I just played a game MP game with my Scorpion which is a lag sensitive weapon and while I didn't fire blanks it seemed to increase the number of stutters.

I am having this problem too. It just started today.

Eventually I ended up reformatting thinking I was experiencing some sort of faulty driver, DLL hell, failing hardware, etc, etc, etc. The nature of these kinds of problems always suggest a wide range of things that can be happening to contribute to this specific problem. At least Windows is running pristine again.

Who knows. It probably has something to do with the silent patches and tweaks for multiplayer balances.
