To the people saying they should add invulnerability frames to Smash, just realize that that can't be done in a weekly balance change. It would need new code and therefore a patch.
This, it's already pretty good they heard most of the complaints there.
Really pleased with the Saber and the Talon, as well as the Smash buff.
About the Hunter Mode, I guess that my GE trooper (full in HM and healing turret) will suffer a little from it, but I shall see.

It almost feels pointless to play as anything decent will eventually be nerfed into oblivion.
The Geth Infiltrator is still one of the best characters in the game. No need to doom and gloom.

You can't really compare Geth health to Human health. Humans have terrible health and shields. And no I don't have to accept that its overpowered, cutting shields in half is still a pretty big drawback. When your team gets overrun, the engineer can be downed in just a few shots.
Asari also have 500 health and shields. A drell only has half of that. even in hunter mode, you still have higher shields than a drell, and you had an insane amount of damage bonuses (as well as either a 90% damage increase or a turret that autoheals you anyway). The class was overpowered. And to be honest, even if it wasn't, if everyone didn't constantly use them, then they wouldn't bother decreasing the power to equalise the multiplayer in terms of character usage. If it wasn't overpowered in any way, then why is it that everyone used them on harder difficulties?

Hunter Mode nerf. Why. Christ almighty. Why.
Because they refuse to deal with the real issues: TC's multiplicative bonus of 40% to sniper rifles.
Hint:
It's not because of "TC's multiplicative bonus of 40% to sniper rifles."
It's the power of the Geth classes when using their "get a bonus to Geth weapons" Evolution alongside of Hunter Mode.
Ok, now explain the far greater popularity of infiltrator + non-geth sniper rifles.
What "non-Geth sniper rifles" are we talking about?
Because Tactical Cloak--despite the continued insistence of the community--is not the real heart of the issue. You don't see people crying for nerfs to the Viper, Valiant, Raptor, Mantis, Harpoon Gun, Widow, Black Widow, or Javelin do you?
Of course not. Because it was the Krysae that was the real issue in this specific circumstance. It was a sniper rifle with explosive splash damage, which was buffed up by the pre-existing crutch for the Sniper Rifle weapon category which is Tactical Cloak.
The fact that I can use a Krysae on my Engineer, Soldier, or Sentinel and still do almost as well as I do with it on an Infiltrator should tell you where the problem existed.

I think he was meaning, nerf the Krysae even more, and buff the Saber.

The major issue the bulk of the Community seem to have with it was the 'Proximity Trigger', and the radius on the splash damage. Reducing the radius of both would have the wiser course of action. A few user including myself even went as far as to say we would not have minded the 'Proximity Trigger' being completely removed. Essentially making the Krysae fit into the Sniper Rifle category. Turning it into a weapon that would require the player to aim.

During my matches? At least 50% of all players I play with are using Geth units, around 40% of those are Engineers. Either I'm a " tactical support teammate"-magnet or there's a fair bit more of them out there than you realise.
Side note: if you're trusting the scoreboard, then you will probably never see a geth engineer on the top position, as I have said many times before, you don't get rewarded for team-heals, so that's one of the main selling points of the class gone in terms of score. GEs make everyone else score better by allowing them to sit out of cover for longer to down an extra target before they have to wait for shields. In other words, the GEs are the team players in all but weapon damage.

I hate this crap; release something new, give everyone who's willing to pay a chance to pay and then nerf it. It's disgusting and the reason I quit 4th Ed.
And yes, I do sink real money into this, because I'm incredibly impatient. No more.

The hunter mode nerf is ****ing stupid and I am pretty sure they did it just to ****** people off.
Like how the hell is a 2.5 damage boost going to help me. >.<
The karsye sniper rifle is not even that good (unless you use weapon mods all of the time.) And since I never use weapon mods, it's useless to me.
Then to top it all off you still get tons of tons of character cards from that stupid ass store.
There my rage is gone.
I think .

I can honestly say that I think nearly all of the changes were good moves on Bioware's part. The Exception being the damage reduction to the Krysae. Not because I did not want it to be 'adjusted' but because I feel that the route they took did not, and will not resolve the issue many had with the gun.

Feel the same. The removal of the proximity burst might be more involved than we may think however. Doubt we'll ever see that unless there is another major patch with new code. It's unfortunate they took this route as the damage output before the change was pretty close to optimal with just the particulars of its use being called into question. Guess they can only implement stop-gap measures in the mean time.
