My reactions:
Saber buff: OK I guess. Did not really need it though.
Talon buff: LOL. Why? One of the very best weapons in the game gets a weight decrease? Wow.
Scorpion buff: Solid tweak.
Reegar Carbine nerf: Cosmetic. Changes nothing.
Krysae nerf: Cosmetic. Changes nothing.
Hunter Mode nerf: Cosmetic. Changes nothing.
Smash buff: Good one.
Shockwave buff: Great!
Now, where the hell are Eagle and Crusader tweaks?
do you even know what cosmetic means

Hunter mod nerfed? You organics are all racists!
I agree with this.. I don't see why hunter mode was nerfed. I can understand the vision range thing, just to make the vision range upgrade seem more appealing, but there was no reason to nerf the damage bonus.

TC is not the problem. I dont see 4 QFI, 4SI, 4HI, or 4QMI in every match. However I do see at least 3 overclocked GI in almost every match. Last I checked the SI was on par with the AA.Cobra84 wrote...

I played both extensively, and there is no true way anyone can say that Hunter mode was not overpowered. The nerf was really not that bad and I can only hope that TC is next to be adjusted. The 40% boost to sniper rifles is one of the reasons so many people thought the Krysae was massively overpowered.
Like a lot of things, Hunter mode was fine without the ungodly overpowered Tactical Cloak.
Are they afraid nerfing TC and having the unskilled hoards that rely on it quit?
TC is not the problem. One particular evolution is. Namely the 40% multiplicative bonus for sniper rifles.

I'm curious - are you more mad about the damage reduction or the vision range reduction? The damage reduction seems pretty minor IMO. I could maybe see the vision range reduction being significant for some people on bigger maps, but not enough that it still wouldn't be valuable.Atheosis wrote...

I don't really think Hunter Mode needed any changes, but some people are acting like they destroyed it and made Geth unusable. Please. You lose 7.5% damage and about 5-6m on Hunter Mode vision (depending on if you took the Rank 6 upgrade). If this stops you from using Geth, there's something wrong with you. Hunter Mode will still be awesome.
Hooray for Talon being lighter! My Talon III was right around the area where I was maybe able to use it on power-based classes instead of the Carnifex. Now I'm probably not using anything but my Talon.
It severely hurts the GE and potentially drops it from A tier to B tier in my opinion. Meanwhile the GI remains in the god tier, just with a sliver less power.

I know I've had that lately.
Still gonna play exploding sniper rifle though, because it's FUN.

Well, I agree with that part. I thought you had problem with the TC power as a whole.Atheosis wrote...

Sniper Rifles were always balanced by firind speed and shield gate. Krysae breaks the shield gate that is the real problem with it.Atheosis wrote...

Good balance changes.
I'm a little miffed that the Reegar got heavier instead of less effective vs Armor. I felt that it was a anti-shield weapon meant for power based characters; now my Quarian Engineer will have an even slower recharge time, and my heavies will be pretty much unaffected.
If you ask me, they didn't make heavy enough. It's power level is clearly on par with the GPS and Graal (if not greater), and it should weigh accordingly.
They definitely shouldn't. There's plenty of heavy shotguns already. They should've reduced its stupidly high DPS while keeping the shield damage bonus, giving it a niche use among the power spammers instead of another shotgun that obliterates everything.
Like I said, making it heavier only punishes the Power-heavy characters. Everyone else gives no craps about a .25 weight increase. Change it back to normal weight, take away Shredder mod, and cut its base damage by 1/3. There you go.

I agree, Diversity is what makes a team Unqiue instead of all the Same, Regardless of Weapons, Character, Powers. BioWare, Research, Test, Then Change. Robots, so easy.
Exactly! You play for fun and with more challenging setups or less challenging setups, it's part of the game. If Bioware continues this up there won't be a need to choose a specific class or weapon because all weapons will do the same damage per second and all classes will be able to do the exact amount of damage through their powers.
Sometimes I want to play as a Human Adept with no points in fitness and using a pistol, sometimes I want to play a Geth Infiltrator maximized for damage with my Claymore X. When there no longer are such distinct differences between classes than I'm going to stop playing, because it won't be fun anymore when there's no diversity.

Lovin' the buffs to Smash and Shockwave, also. Recently got into using the Human Adept, so that increased shockwave range is going to come in handy.

LOL at all the crying over Hunter mode. 7.5% decrease and suddenly the end of the world is nigh?
I'm going to continue playing my geth classes. But if you think they're completely ruined, I won't stop you. That's just less competition for my melee GI.
If anything needed to be nerfed, it was that.
Considering I have run into no other competent melee GI players, and that it is my favourite class, I beg to differ.
Anyway more of my baseless opinions:
-Saber buff -good considering I've pulled a few lately
-Talon buff -One of the best pistols gets even better
-Scorpion buff -Maybe I'll actually see this in a lobby now?

Meh. This seems like a really weak attempt from bioware to compromise between tac cloak nerfers and casuals. Seems like these changes were meant to affect the GI the most, but he will still have the best dmg output in the game. GE just got neutered in the crossfire.
That's pretty much the case. There are favorites amongst the team, and they've hardly been touched, and never in a downward fashion. (And yes, I know this for a fact, not speculation.)

I'm mad about the whole thing. Hunter Mode was perfectly blanced on the GE. You don't mess with perfectly balanced powers. Just because they were idiots and gave GI's both Tactical Cloak and Hunter Mode for some unknown reason does not mean they should be nerfing a balanced power on a balanced class as well. The truth is that they should've given GI a different cloak power with less damage and more utility, but they screwed it up and now they are making more of a mess while ham-fistedly trying to fix things.
