I'd add a scene where Garrus shoots Joker in the back of the head, takes the helm and flies the Normandy to the Citadel. They pick up Shepard, drop a nuke in the Catalyst's room then fly away from the explosion dramatically. Shepard is a hero, EDI gets melted down and turned into a set of decorative flower pots, and Joker is buried in an unmarked grave, remembered by the galaxy as the Benedict Arnold of the Reaper Invasion.
...
Okay, that's probably too much but really hate that scene!
How would you salvage the Normandy Crash scene?

Like most have said, I would remove it. My crew deserve the same fate as everyone else...it's how they would want it.

Whether IT or not, make it clear that it's Shepard hoping that Joker, his LI and (EDI/best friend) survive.

Shepard's crew doesn't leave him behind. Period. If that fact can't be maintained the scene needs to be removed.

We know some of crew members have lines of some kind.
How would you salvage it so that it is good?
Joker and Liara look at the beautiful landscape after exiting the ship, soon joined by Javik, and then Garrus.
A few moments of awe pass as they watch the planet, thinking to themselves what they could possibly do next...
Suddenly, Tali walks out of the Normandy.
Tali, grief-stricken: "I'm sorry Joker, EDI didn't make it. Seems something fried her systems mid-jump."
Joker, calm and almost uninterested: "I know, Tali. I'm trying not to think about it. We're going to need a way off this rock first and get back to the fight, then I can grieve."
Javik, in his usual grave, somber tone: "It is a shame. That Synthetic, it-"he stops himself, before correcting; "-She- was different."
Liara, placing a hand on Joker's shoulder: "She died protecting all of us. It's how she wanted to go, how we all hoped we could go."
Joker, eyes closed and covering his face with one hand: "Stop talking, guys."
Garrus, turning and walking towards the ship: "I'm going back inside. I need to do some-"
Tali, walking up to Garrus side, remarks cheekily: "Calibrations?"
Garrus, taking her by the arm and leading her inside: "Yeah. Come hold my spanner for me."
Tali, flirtatiously: "That sounds interesting..."
Garrus, gravely, shaking his head: "Not right now."
Tali, looking down: "Sorry."
Liara, turning away from Joker and walking to the ship: "I'll help them, the sooner we can get some systems repaired the sooner we can get back in touch with the Fleet and go back to find Shepard."
Javik and Joker stand alone on the cliff, contemplative for a long while before Javik speaks up.
Javik turns to Joker: "The Reepahz are dead. My purpose is fulfilled. Yet I feel... Conflicted. Confused. As if there is more I must do."
Joker turns to him, forcing a smile: "There always is. Some stories don't just end when the bad guys are gone, y'know."
Javik smiles too; "And some stories - such as that of life - never end at all."
The two walk back to the ship, leaving the Normandy sitting there silently as the camera pans across her damaged hull. As it reaches the thrusters, one of them wiggles somewhat and begins to glow, humming warmly as power is restored.

Someone posted a far-fetched idea for the normandy scene I liked -
Where that scene takes place in the future (after the war with the reapers) and it is joker/ the normandy testing out a repaired/ newly created mass relay

Instead of crashing god knows where they crash on Earth.
Tali and Garrus starving to death makes a such great ending after all.

See the thing is that that when the Citadel fires the explosion, no matter what color it is, blue, red, or green, what is the first thing you see? There are four reaper capital ships in the scene. All four of them get blown to bits by the energy wave.
Now if Joker sees this he is going to get the hell out of there as fast as possible. I wouldn't blame him. He's got to get to the relay before the wave gets there. But what if the way to the relay is blocked? Then he has to go on the other axis, and once he starts on that axis he'll never get to that relay, and if he goes FTL with no destination set he could end up anywhere -- you know the anywhere that's not here. So I'm guessing he's trying to outrun it in normal space and just can't, and when the wave hits the Normandy and shears off the FTL drive and thrusters they get blown to this planet and luckily it's a garden world.
But where the hell is it? EDI is fried. So where are they? I guess it's time to get a distress beacon out.
The EC has to reconcile this problem with the entire Sword fleet, because if they don't, the ending remains ****ed. Or they just retcon and don't destroy the relays, and redo the ending cutscenes and delete this last scene. Actually that would be the easiest way of doing it.

It's a dream, or it's separate from the narrative.
TRY and steal my interpretation Bioware.
I don't think they need to steal your interpretation, since I'm pretty sure it was their original intention. Given the abruptness of the cutaway, Shepard/player seeing those closest to him in an idealistic setting, then (at least in ^EMS destroy) abruptly cutting back to Shepard "waking up/gasping, the whole thing has a surreal feeling to it.
