The problem wasn't the Hunter Mode, it was the combination of both Hunter Mode and Tac-Cloak on the Geth Infiltrator. Like having both Reave and Warp on the same adept.

Hunter mode : I solely use it for wallhack anyway, tactical advantage is far superior to firepower. The original 20 meter range is too much anyway.

Every time I see someone post something like this a little bit of my brain dies.  The power was fine on the Geth Engineer and did not need a nerf.  They nerfed it anyway because it is shared with a massively overpowered class.  Therefore Bioware fails at game balance once again.

Actually, there's no obvious reason to nerf Hunter Mode at all. And since it only really affects one of the two Geth classes, pushback from those that favor the shafted class is justified.

7.5% dmg isnt a big deal. I would be more upset with the vision reduction, but what ever you walk around invisible.
And my buddy plays the GE without hunter mode and does amazing. So really you guys are crying for nothing. Crying for nothing is something spoiled brats do.

 Cry me a river. I love how most are using the GE as leverage when we all really know that you are upset because the GI took a slight nerf.

A 7.5 % decrease can be made up with a sniper/tech gear amp or a shotgun/melee gear amp or any gear, all of which are permanent gear.

/signed but only for the vision reduction really, it is completely unnecessary. The damage is understandable based on how powerful the GI is but was 5 extra meters of sight gamebreaking, hell no.

Dear Bioware, please leave hunter mode the way it is. The people complaining about this appear very strong emotional attachment to 5 extra meters of wallhack vision and 7.5% base damage buff. This is honestly one of the most preposterous whinefests I've seen since WoW, and the tears of the poor poor "now underpowered" geth are delicious.

Obviously it hasn't stopped them from playing the class because I'm still seeing both classes all over. Gold matches tonight..

Tactical Cloak is what's overpowered, not Hunter Mode. Therefore the nerf does nothing to bring the Geth Infiltrator into balance. The only significant change brought on by the nerf is to make the Geth Engineer worse, which was not necessary because it was not an overpowered character. It's a nonsensical change.

Call it crying all you like--we have a point and you don't. You're the one being a spoiled brat here.
