I'm usually don't care much about what people say on the internet but even I found this to be in bad taste from one of Bioware's employees.  

Pretty much, that was a troll level response and not in a funny way. They should be above that kind of behaviour. Being a moderator is a thankless job, I know because I've done it for many sites over the years, but you should never lower yourself like that. Especially when one is representing a company as large as Bioware.

Yes it is a thankless job, but in Chris' case he's paid to do it, unlike most mods on most forums.

Yeah, that just makes such behaviour even more unbecomming. It's one thing to throw witty quips at forum members in light hearted jest, it's another to post condecending flame bait. I don't like the change, but I think the OP is blowing it way out of proportion and was going to post to that effect. I was taken aback by how out of place and unproffesional Chris's comment was.

People need to deal with this, nerfing Hunter Mode isn't the way to balance the game, reducing the tactical cloak damage boost (and giving it a longer standard duration) is how you fix this.

Infiltrators are the most popular class because they can make ANY weapon be better than on any soldier hands (minus a few, that need Turian/soldier to make them work)

Signed. This is like the stupid nerf on biotic explosions a few weeks ago(which also wasn't needed).  It didn't really change anything and was just a response to whiners.

Get rid of it(bringing back the biotic explosions would be nice also).

If people are really whining about the GI, just give them arc grenades instead of the Hm.  That solves everything. But still, changing something that is fine is a bad precedent.

i am not sure that the amout of people doing SPEEDRUNS in gold is so big in comparison to the people usine the GE.

I'm fine with it and it's certainly not gonna ruin my GE build (and GE is one of my favorite characters, I don't play GI at all). Just by looking at the numbers it looks like a fairly small nerf after all, inciting you to sacrifice damage if you want decent vision range on HM. That seems like a fair tradeoff to me.

GI needed a nerf of some sort, I agree this is certainly not enough but had bioware nerfed TC instead you would have seen at least 10 times more people crying in this thread.

Sarcasm needs a little work there Chris. I think the OP was just trying to make this the goto thread for players wanting Hunter Mode restored without players flooding the fourm with smaller topics that would just get passed over in favor of more restore topics.
