Thought I'd just chuck the Eagle as secondary on my Turian Soldier (Hurricane is always primary) and give it a quick whirl. On it's own, not that great but I think I really need to try it with the extended clip - however, with Marksmanship, against Geth... I'm kinda liking it actually, the AP mod means you take down pyros pretty quickly... shame it's somewhat heavier than the Phalanx X which I would normally use as a secondary - still, it might be a perfectly reasonable gun at higher levels.
Different game I used a GE to try out the Hunter mode "nerf" ... this may have a bigger impact on GEs using a different setup or load out, but I didn't really notice any great reduction in damage, probably because I've got a 6/6/6/6/0 build with damage buffs from Advanced Hardware... and I use a GPS/GPSMG combo. Squishy as hell but still perfectly usable on gold. Guess I could just put shotgun gear on it to get the damage back but with 0 fitness, shield regen gear is generally a better choice.
10% vision range increase... didn't really notice it that much, could have perhaps done with being a squidge longer, maybe 15% - but I was on Jade which has some pretty long corridors at the back - might be more noticeable on Glacier or one of the other slightly tighter maps though. However, since the Hunter mode vision thing is the main reason I have the power on the GE (because I hate Hunters just THAT much) I'm actually fairly happy with the changes.
Oh, and I'm really liking the weight reduction in some of the heavy pistols... I think they've just become a much more viable choice on Engineers/Biotics. Quite looking forward to taking my QME out for a trial run with the Scorpion tomorrow
I'll reserve judgement on the Krysae & Reegar "nerfs" until I've tried them out - it'll be interesting to see how the Krysae/Hunter Mode changes affect the GI/Krysae - may have reigned it in a bit but since it'll still get the massive sniper rifle buff from TC, it may not make a huge amount of difference - we'll see.
Just my initial thoughts but so far, from what I've tested, I'm fairly happy with the changes.
