Yeah I got it finally, and I'm shocked to find I really don't like it.

Horrible recoil, horrible accuracy, slow reload.

I prefer the avenger.

Using it wrong, bro.

The Hurricane is an amazing CQC weapon, and when hip fired negates almost all recoil.

If you try using it at range you're just going to fight with it.

Same, loving it on Turian Soldier.

However, I was rather annoyed by a bug that caused it to not fire the last round of the clip with Extended Mags on, so I had to manually reload for the entire match. I'd never experienced this on any gun before.

Why use extended Mag though? Why not heat sink? It's like +90% Clip size AND spare ammo.

Got it last time around myself. Awesome on Turrians/CQC but bit lacking at range.

Would be happy with a Hurricane III. It's the only N7 weapon I really like using.

That's because the Hurricane is the only gun that fires "single-shot" bursts. Each burst registers as being two shots from the clip, but is actually a single high-powered round (which is why it doesn't suffer as much against armor as other automatic weapons).

Since the gun can't shoot a single half-power round, you can't do anything when there's only one shot left - two "shots" are required to fire the weapon. The bug isn't really that the gun can't fire when you have one round available to the clip - it's that the game should never allow the gun to have an odd number of shots remaining in the first place.

 Got my Hurricane II and I couldn't be happier.

Gives me an excuse to use the SMG rails and Stability mods that build up in my inventory, and is pretty beast considering its weight.

The 45% affects itself, so it adds 45%, then 45% of 45%, then 45% of 45% of 45%, etc. The total ends up being slightly more than an equivalent Extended Mag, on average (though it can be more or it can be less, since it's random).

I got my Hurricane 2 followed by the crusader shotgun (which is a seriously crappy weapon). What is the point of a slug firing shotgun that has less rounds and does less damage than a goddamn pistol?

I like my hurricane though..

45% chance (At level 5) to not consume ammo when fireing.   Every shot is pretty much a 50% chance to not use ammo.  That translates into 90% more ammo in both clip and reserve.

Thanks guys. I was only using Mags because it was a higher rank than Heat Sink and I was pretty much choosing at random. And now thanks to RNG Heat Sink is higher, so no problem.

Try firing in bursts, much more accurate at long / medium ranges, and conserves ammo better.

Could be worse. I have every expectation of having a Crusader VI after I redeem my packs.

My only consolation is that I've had my Hurricane I for a while now.
