Shoot it from the hip. It's pretty great that way (and surprisngly accurate). It's perfect weapon for Vanguard! 

I just got one today too! I'm loving it, it's just what my Vanguard needed, light gun with massive stopping power that can be fired casualy from the hip!

Hurricane III and IV today, very disappointed. Only gun I have wanted since the first operation I played in is the Valiant and I have yet to get that, but instead get 4 of he same gun.

The Hurricane is an amazing CQC weapon, and when hip fired negates almost all recoil.

If you try using it at range you're just going to fight with it.

Yeah at range it is **** unless you're a turian with stability and/or marksman.

I use it on my asari justicar. From cover she can hit at range just fine.

I've wanted this gun so long and finally got it today! The hurricane is just pure fun to shoot. Reminds me of gunship autocannon or something along those lines I've been wanted an upgrade from my tempest for a while now and the Hurricane is perfect.

Hurricane II and III. Now I have Hurricane III and Crusader III. It could be worse, I could have gotten the gorram eagle. But I really just wanted a Valiant. It's the perfect sniper for my non-infilrator characters, and it's kinda disappoint, but It could have been worse, so I'm not complaining... much.

Hurricane III on Turian Soldier w/SMG AMP and Gear, Stability Amp, and AP Ammo = Glorious carnage.

I use mine on my Human Engineer, if that counts. But I'm on PC, and the recoil is supposedly more difficult to manage on controllers.

Yeah, it jumps quite a bit.

Which is why people recommend using it on one of the Turians: they get stability as part of their Turian Veteran tab, which makes the Hurricane easier to handle. Plus there's marksman, on the T. Soldier. Geth can use it well to, especially the infiltrator.

Play with it enough, and you'll find that for short ranges at least you can control it pretty well. Also make use of your stability mod equipments. No other weapon needs them as much. So yeah, practice controlling the recoil if you really intend to use this weapon. If not, stick with your Carnifex on adepts.
