I'd be fine if they just halved the cooldown time on Heal and potions.
As for Spirit Healer, I never used it in DA2. Firstly, the inability to cast offensively while Healing Aura was active was a deal breaker. Secondly, Healing Aura had way too small a radius; it should have just been a party-wide effect like Heroic Aura.
The passives looked good though.
Should Mages be able to use Heal and Group Heal easier?
