I am completely, 100% excited that I can finally join the ranks of those forum members who have solo'd something.

No, I don't care that it was only Bronze.

No, I don't care that it was probably the easiest set-up... Reapers on Glacier.

No, I don't care that it was with something nigh unkillable... a Krogan Vanguard.

No, I don't care that it was with a OP shotgun... the Reegar Carbine.

I am just happy to have FINALLY DONE IT.

I tried, once, to solo bronze a while ago with my tried-and-true Level 20 Turian Sentinel. I died miserably on a Wave 6 disable-four-devices against Cerberus on White. I just got overrun. Didn't try again after that, as I didn't find it much fun.

Well, I unintentionally solo'd tonight and am just beside myself. I had finally unlocked the Krogan Vanguard for the first time ever last night right before I signed off (just had to buy that one PSP before dinner, LOL). I had only played the Vanguard class a few times with a human, which was fun but not something I do a whole lot. Since it was not a strong class of mine, the character itself was totally new to me, I wanted to try a gun I had never used before, and I was only Level 12, I hosted a Bronze random/random room. Nobody entered. Like, for a very long time.

So, I got bored, said "screw it", and started the game. Figured I'd pick up some teammates in progress.

Solo'd the first wave. Nobody joined.

Okay, fine.

Solo'd the second wave. Still nobody joined.

Well, this is vaguely annoying. Where is everybody??

Wave 3, retrieval. Lucked out since both objects were relatively near their drop zone.

Wave 4, still nobody joining. Screw it, let's see how long I last.

Wave 6 was retrieval again and just as easy as it had been on Wave 3. Now I'm starting to enjoy myself because this is feeling like a crazy piece of cake.

Wave 10 is kill four targets. Geez, no problem biotic charging to their locations.

Figured surely I would bite it on extraction. I had used all four of my missiles in previous waves when the situation got sticky (a.k.a. two brutes, a ravager, and a banshee having a party together). Nope. Hung out upstairs, killed a bunch of stuff, then ran to the landing zone with 10 seconds left. Extracted.

Didn't even use a medigel.

So. Much. Awesome.

So, yeah. I know I am not great as I just solo'd the easiest set-up with the easiest character and gun ever and totally lucked out on objective rounds (no disable-four-devices and no hack). But considering I only ever tried to solo once before and it's just not something I do, I am pretty darn proud I can finally say I've done it once!

Hey I think that's how I solo'd my first Bronze too! Nobody was joining the lobby, I started it up and nobody else joined so I just kept on going...

Unfortunatly, I used a Geth Infiltrator with a Valiant to solo my first Bronze against Cerberus... not exactly fair lolz

Congrats! Nobody gave me a pat on the back when I accomplished my first solo, but you deserve yours. It definitely means you can handle yourself in a fight. Good work down there.

Nice! Try it on silver now, or try it without using any equipment or consumables. Soloing can be a lot of fun, nice way to blow off some steam after getting a bad team.

Congratulations my friend! It's always a bit of a rush when you solo it for your first time. I remember my first time like it was yesterday.

Next challenge is to do it will all the classes. ;P

Chiming in, just solo'd bronze for the first time on Condor with human infiltrator. Had 2 uploads and 1 retrieval and terrible aim (not even 20 headshots).

Congrats. I did my first bronze solo a few days ago, but it was with a vorcha, so it felt like cheating, but whatever.

I tried to solo with phoenix adept the other day, trollolololololololol.

Congratulations. Was playing solo bronze on Ghost vs Cerberus myself last night. Wave 10 pizza retrieval I got insta killed by a phantom I missed while on my second delivery.

My first solo was against cerbs on ghost with a Falcon cryo grenadier GI and you did the tougher bronze by far~

Congratulations.

For a Kroguard easiest setup (for me) was Geth on FB Dagger. The map is HUGE and you can easily attract enemies to the other side of map and then do your objectives pretty safe and easy. Geth can't instakill and stagger is non-issue for Battlemaster.
