I looked [granted not very hard], but I couldn't find anything. What is the best armor set up for each squad member? I only have the From Ashes DLC and no promotional content.

For example, for EDI since her recharge time is god awful, I would assume the best one would be the outfit that increases Power Recharge Speed by 25%

Anyone know the rest? :D

This might help.

Thank you. I feel like such an idiot, I didn't even think about looking on the Wikia.

It's impossible not to notice that... thing...

Not that it matters, she always wears the black outfit when she's on my team anyway. Faster recharge rates and the only things she shows in cutscenes are some pretty nice abs.

You know what would have been awesome?  Some sort of indication that the different suits had an in-game effect.  I thought they were purely cosmetic up until this point, and just equipped the most bulked up looking ones because they looked the most armor-ish.

But there is. In the character selection screen, you can access an info tab for each squad member which lists powers, equipped weapons and the bonus their current suit grants.

Yeah, but that doesn't show as you change their suit - I already knew what powers they had, and I changed weapons when going on a mission - there was never any reason to check the info tab. And from previous experience in ME2, the various outfits were purely cosmetic. I had literally no idea they made any difference at all until I saw this thread. The outfit's ability bonus should have been made more obvious.

Ah yes... EDI's armor can be quite distracting... indeed...

But I do recommend cooldown or weapon damage bonuses.

If you press the "Info" button, this pulls up another screen that lets you see what the character's abilities are, and also what kind of bonus that character receives in whatever outfit they're wearing. It's mostly a toss-up between a combination of power recharge, power damage, and weapon damage.

Whatever looks the best ;)

Actually this has become my prime consideration, but fortunately for me this usually lines up with the bonus I want anyway.

Yes, Rikketik's post.was clear, I understand that the info tab tells you what the armor bonus is.  What I SAID was that there was no indication that the different outfits are anything more than cosmetic in the main screen, and there's no incentive to check the info tab  to see this isn't the case.    The benefits from the different outfits should be displayed right on the main screen, or at least pop up in a tab as you cycle them..  I played the entire game without once checking the info tab.

IDK, a 25% increase on a DPS that's already taking a 70% hit seems like sort of a waste to me. Might as well give the Ash/Garrus/Vega the shield boost for as much difference as either statistic makes.

Cooldowns are pretty universally a good call, though, yeah.
