Seriously, I save a lot. I save before every decision, before every
dialogue, before every transition to the next screen, before every hard
boss, before I start a side-quest, before I complete a side-quest, etc, etc... but what I didn't realize is that the only way to
delete those saves is to manually go through my hard-drive and delete
them which makes "special saves" before certain points hard to keep.
A simple button followed by a "yes/no" option would be nice to have. A way to manage your saves so that you can keep what you want and throw away the rest. If there is already a way to do such a thing then I apologize for bringing it up.

It's not like the dashboard's THAT inconvenient. WHy delete anyways, just save over the oldest one. Resave, reuse, recycle.

I find that I have more bugs/glitches on games where I save over saves.... so now I don't, and I just keep a long list of saves and don't delete any until I'm done.

Never had any problems so long as I didnt abuse any of the major glitches in the game.

This has nothing to do with glitches, it has to do with deleting saves which is not present in the console version of the game which is a real pain for those with a tendency to save a lot. I understand what SarEnyaDor was saying though, especially with problems like the Redcliffe glitch.

Yes it is. It would be a lot easier to delete if you could name your saves. But no. It's just your Charactername followed by a long list of numbers. Unless you remember the exact time and date you saved which file, you're screwed.

Shouldnt fill up all of the save slots anyway, plus the only reason you should be erasing saves is to get rid of a character.

Yes, well I have 10 characters, and 9 completed playthroughs.

i agree, an in-game option is needed and surprisingly absent, especially for an rpg title. very odd indeed... achievement unlocked? lol...
