I love the sound of the Widow, Revenant, Mattock, Avenger, Scimitar, Talon, Phalanx, Mantis and possibly a few others.

I also enjoy the sound of smashing into an enemy with a krogan headbutt or heavy melee...though it's not technically a gun.

I'm also pretty partial to the Geth SMG when it gets warmed-up all the way.

Back before I built up my rares, I used the Raptor on my Drell Adept, and it suited the class very well.

I used for a while on my Turian Sentinel, before I got better weapons.  I found it to actually be quite effective that way.  I don't know if it would be effective higher than silver, but give that a shot.  Shield strip to raptor headshots = fun times, imo.  

(Oh, and now I use the saber on my Turian sentinel, on the extra rare occasions I pull him out)

I use it on my Drell Vanguard sometimes, pretty effective since it can be fired from the hips or zoomed.

Anyway, my favorite weapons, sound wise, are the Saber, the Hurricane, the Talon and probably the Harrier if I manage to unlock it one day.
